00:00You've heard of recycling, but in Thailand we have turned it into art.
00:04Welcome to Wat Phra Maha Jai Dee Gheo, also known as a temple of a million bottles tucked
00:10away in Shisaket province.
00:12This temple was built using over 1.5 million recycled beer bottles, mostly Heineken Green
00:18and Chang Brown.
00:19Everything from the walls, falls, prayer halls, and even the toilet is made from grass bottles
00:24is creative, sustainable, and completely mesmerizing.
00:28The project, started in 1984 by Buddhist monks, wanted to clean up their community.
00:34What began as a few walls became an entire eco-temple complex.
00:38Sustainability has never looked this stunning, and it's a powerful reminder that beauty can
00:43be built from best.
