Highlights of the Main and Rhine rivers

00:13We're here in beautiful Wurzburg in the Franconia region of Germany and we're on an

00:18eight-day cruise taking in some of the amazing highlights of the Main and the

00:22Rhine rivers and we're on board the new APT Ostara was just launched four weeks

00:39Along the way we're visiting some of Europe's most beautiful medieval towns

00:44including the UNESCO World Heritage List at Bamberg and Rothenberg on the Romantic Road

01:09Our journey also takes us through the Rhine Gorge, a famous 65 kilometre long stretch

01:36of river, home to more than 40 castles and forts.

01:40There's 77 suites on board and we're staying in one of the French balconies which have large

01:47panoramic windows, that when the weather's good you can open up and watch the scenery

01:51float by.

01:52There's six different dining options on board, everything from casual dining in the

01:57bistro through to the five course degustation menu in the captain's cellar behind me.
