01:59Hi Cassia, would you say your level this year is the same as last year?
02:05Is there any difference for you?
02:07Oh yeah, I mean it's definitely higher, but so has every single rider, this is like the
02:14growth of women cycling, you know, like you can be, if you were to push the same power
02:20that you were pushing last year, you would be not even in the top 10 here.
02:24So it's a constant progress and sometimes it's great to see sometimes it's like, what else
02:31can I be doing, you know, to be still progressing even more.
02:34So yeah, as of right now, I feel like I just need to focus on relaxing and having fun with
02:41friends and not thinking too much about what else to change.
02:45When you think back to earlier in the week before these last two months and stages, were there
02:53any kind of missed opportunities or chances to gain time?
02:57I'm not sure because to be honest, coming for the first like seven stages, I felt that there
03:05were, there was a group of seven of us that we were kind of on a similar level.
03:09It felt that none of us really wanted to invest more, but maybe just because of how the race
03:17course looked like, you know, it's not that we would finish on that mountain earlier or we
03:21would have a really crazy steep climbs, like it was all about kind of gradual, steady climbing
03:28that once you're on a wheel, you benefit so much.
03:31So I feel like everyone was just focusing more on saving versus spending.
03:40Hi, Cassia.
03:41You know, Pauline, for a very long time, you were a teammate in the Ravomorgan Canyon.
03:46And what's your feelings about Vitori and what does it say about the growth of cycling?
03:51Yeah.
03:52I mean, she's definitely super talented person.
03:55It's something that we all knew about.
03:58She's a great person.
03:59She's super funny and easy to talk to.
04:02So I guess it's like amazing for French woman cycling, especially to have her win the Tour
04:08de France that Mavic's with.
04:11But yeah, you can also see how sometimes maybe dedicating months to just like prepare pace
04:17of versus having like a proper race schedule.
04:22And when you heard that she will return to road cycling, how did you feel as someone like
04:28frightened to fight her or just curious to see how good she could be?
04:32To be honest, I just was wishing that actually we were teammates again, because that would
04:39be easier.
04:40I mean, it would be nice to be a team with her in the same team with her again, because
04:44yeah, then you can play different cards and games.
04:47Cassie, you just said there how you think it might have benefited Pauline by just focusing
04:52on this goal rather than having a proper race schedule.
04:55Is that something you think you might change them for next year or lead up to this race?
05:00I'm not sure.
05:01Definitely.
05:02I like it crossed my mind because you see what a difference it makes.
05:08But also I feel like everyone is different and different things work for certain riders.
05:13I like racing.
05:15I don't know if I would want to like commit half of my season just to like prepare for
05:20one race because then anything can happen.
05:23But yeah, it always depends on the race course, you know.
05:27So I feel like that dictates like how much time you can spend away from racing.
05:33Cassie, you said that the level has improved a lot even just in the last 12 months.
05:38Do you feel like tactics have progressed as well?
05:41I think that just the teams are stronger.
05:44It's less about having a rider and then like domestic riders who cannot make it over the climb.
05:52We can see that a lot of teams grow in depth.
05:57Like they have really strong riders that can help their leaders.
06:00Like even what I've noticed this year, Paulina Rojakas,
06:05like she always had people that would help her with her descending or positioning in the peloton.
06:09So it all like kind of rolls the dice, let's say, makes it faster.
06:14We'll be looking over together.
06:15We'll be thinking later.
06:16Thanks for saying but we'll be chatting here next week.
06:19Let's hear.
06:20Hurry up later.
06:24Bye-bye here later.
06:26Bye-bye.
06:28Bye-bye later.
06:31Bye-bye later.
06:32Love later is for a like and I'm Hamb Trading Supportни for New York City
