00:00So one of your fellow Democrats, Kamala Harris, who of course was the party's nominee for
00:06president in the end in the most recent election, she just announced she's not going to run
00:11for governor of California, which leaves the door open for her to potentially run
00:15for president again.
00:17Considering what you've laid out about what Democrats need to do, is Kamala Harris the
00:21right person to be the Democratic standard bearer in 2028?
00:27Well, it's about the message and what they run on, right?
00:29I haven't talked to Kamala about what her plans are.
00:32I think what we need is the ability to make sure that we can build that coalition of 55,
00:3758 percent, win decisively, turn our back on this divisive Trumpian era of politics and
00:43move forward with an era of prosperity and opportunity for the American people.
00:48And I think it's great that many people will hopefully run to be able to audition to see
00:52who has that voice and who's able to get that done and win, and of course, govern effectively
00:57to improve our quality of life.
00:59I'm tempted to ask if that's you, sir.
01:04It's not something that I've looked at.
01:05I'm focused on governing.
01:07It's my job.
01:08I have another year and a half as governor of Colorado.
01:11We're going to do everything we can to make life even better here.
01:13Fair enough.
01:14Governor, thank you very much for your time today.
01:15I really appreciate it.
