The Subang Jaya Medical Centre (SJMC) on Saturday (Aug 2) launched a new catheterisation laboratory (Cath Lab), naming it in honour of Datuk Dr Anuar Masduki, one of Malaysia's most respected cardiologists and physicians.
00:00This lab is named in tribute to Your Royal Highness' trusted personal cardiologist and one of our nation's finest physicians.
00:17This moment is deeply meaningful. For us at SJMC and for all who knew the late Dr. Setia Dr. Ahmad Maslouki, a visionary and pioneer in cardiology, his dedication, wisdom and compassion left a lasting mark on Malaysian healthcare.
00:41As a peer, colleague and doctor, he was humble, reliable and always placed patient first in their time of need.
00:54He treated every patient and staff members with respect and was always approachable and supportive.
01:03Naming this facility in his honour is our way of preserving his legacy and recognising the values he lived by, values that continue to inspire us at SJMC and beyond.
01:20The newly launched cardiac catheterisation laboratory began its operation in May, following an investment of RM14 million in Malaysia.
01:31It expands our ability to deliver personalised care through the diagnosis and treatment of complex heart conditions, using minimally invasive techniques, including advanced angioplasty and electrophysiology.
01:48Today, we have doubled the number of patients and diagnosed.
01:55Your Royal Highnesses, this year, SJMC turns from key, a milestone that reflects both meaning and momentum.
02:05Today, we are one of the most trusted private tertiary centres, known for high quality medical services with advanced technology and care that put patients at the heart of all we do.
