00:20Alright, now let's see which two racers are going to battle it out in our first round.
00:24In our first truck is the red 95 Rusty's team.
00:28What a cool-looking truck.
00:30Let's find out what race car we have inside.
00:34Of course, it's Lightning McQueen.
00:37And you know a car is fast when it has lightning bolts on the side.
00:41So he's going to be one to keep an eye on, and he's definitely going to be a crowd favorite.
00:45Alright, let's move the first truck so we can check out who our next racer is.
00:50And our second truck is the orange 92 Sputter Stop team.
00:54And I heard that Murray Clutchburn couldn't be here today, so he has a sub today.
00:58Let's see who it is.
01:01Whoa, check it out.
01:03It's multiple Piston Cup champion, Daryl Car Trip, driving the number 17.
01:08And this car loves to boogity, boogity, boogity.
01:11And he's going to square off against Lightning McQueen in the first race.
01:14And here come our drivers now.
01:16But first, since these are color-changing cars, we're going to add a tray of hot water at the bottom of the track.
01:22And for each of our races, whoever makes it to the water first is the winner.
01:26But before we start the races, let's ride along the track ourselves with our very own camera car.

01:53It looks like Lightning McQueen gets to the water first.

02:00Daryl Car Trip's blue car became white in the hot water.

02:08And the winner of our race, Lightning McQueen's red car became yellow.
02:12And we'll be seeing him again in the second round.
02:15Now to find out who the next racers are for our second race.
02:18Wow, I love how futuristic this next truck looks.
02:21It's our yellow number 51 Dinoco truck.
02:24And inside we have Cruz Ramirez, of course.
02:28And she's in her orange number 51.
02:31And in the past, she's always been there to help Lightning McQueen train for his races.
02:35But today she's looking to win that title herself.
02:38Now let's see who will be going up against her by finding out who's inside this green HDB truck.

02:45Oh wow, today it looks like Revo Koss will be the racer on the green team.
02:52And he's brought his black hot rod to the races today.
02:55But he's definitely got his work cut out for him going up against crowd favorite Cruz Ramirez.
03:00Let's set him here in the outside lane.
03:04And right next to him, Cruz in the inside lane.
03:07Alright, let's see who wins.
03:11It was definitely close, but Cruz hit the water first.
03:15Whoa, check it out.
03:16Revo Koss' black hot rod became green in the hot water.
03:20I guess that explains why he was racing for the green team.
03:22And the winner of the race, Cruz, ducked out of her orange paint job and switched it for the yellow one that we all know and love.
03:30Now let's find out which two drivers will be racing in our third race.
03:34The first one's going to be from this light blue Dinoco racing team.
03:37Let's find out who it is.
03:43Hey, it's the king, Strip Weathers.
03:45Seven-time champion of the Piston Cup.
03:48He's a retired racer, but today he came out of retirement just for this race.
03:52And I totally love his classic car shape and his extra large tail fin.
03:58Beep, beep.
03:59Making way for the next racer.
04:01And it looks like we have another classic racing team with the fabulous Hudson Hornet racing for the blue 51 team.
04:08Let's get a look at him before he heads off in his race against the king.
04:12Oh, he's almost too big for his trailer.
04:14But that's okay though.
04:15Wow, I love the curves on this classic vehicle.
04:19And Hudson holds a ton of records, including most wins in a single season.
04:23But he's getting up in age, so we'll see how he does in today's races.

04:29And next to him, the king.
04:31Off they go.
04:32Wow, king got some serious air time.
04:35But poor Hudson crashed and burned before he got to the water.
04:39No worries though, he can still take a dip.
04:41Let's see what color he changes to.

04:48And even though drag racing might not be his thing, he still put on a good show for us today.

05:03Now to meet the two cars that are going to be in the last race of the first round.
05:06And I love this soft purple color of this number 79 truck.
05:11And I got word from the team's crew chief that Paul Ingus has a flat tire today.
05:15So racing in this place is going to be the number 19 Bobby Swift.
05:19And he's going to be racing in his black number 19 Octane Gain stock car.
05:23And this will be the first time that I've seen Bobby race.
05:26So I'm curious to see how well he does in today's races.
05:28And now to meet our final racer of today's race.
05:31And they're going to be racing for the black Apple team.
05:33Wow, this truck looks so good.
05:36I love how sleek and simple it is.
05:38Now let's meet who's inside.
05:42Hey, it's Sheriff.
05:44Sheriff's not a race car, but it looks like he wants to join the race today and see how well he does against the other cars.
05:50And now that I think about it, police cars can go pretty fast too.
05:53So he might have a good chance.
05:57Good luck, Sheriff.
05:59Alright, he's going to be taking our outside lane.
06:01And Bobby Swift is going to be on our inside lane.
06:04Go for it, racers.

06:13Here, it looks like Bobby's ahead by just a little bit right before they hit the water.
06:17That means Bobby's the winner.

07:11It looks like the king was going for style points.
07:13And Lightning was just going for the win.
07:15And this time they jumped in some cool water.
07:18So they're back to their original colors.
07:19The king here in his dark blue paint job.
07:22And Lightning with his famous red paint job.
07:25And if this was a race about jumping skills, the king would have won.
07:28But as it was, Lightning showed us who's the fastest today.
07:32And the next matchup between our two first round winners is going to be Cruise in the outside lane.
07:37And Bobby Swift in the inside.
07:39And both of these cars have a lot of racing experience.
07:42So this is going to be a great match.

07:48But in super slow motion, we can see that Cruise just barely edges the win.

07:55And we can see that Bobby Swift is back to his original black paint job.

08:05So our two contenders for the final race are going to be Lightning McQueen versus Cruise.
08:09And what a great matchup it's going to be because they're both crowd favorites.
