00:00There's a place in Turkey where the sea, sun, history and nature blend in harmony.
00:10Stretching over 640 km of coastline, Antalya is a destination that attracts explorers and dreamers.
00:19Merhaba, from the quiet beach of Olympos, I'm setting off along the coast, looking for traces from the past.
00:33My next stop, Phaselis, an ancient city, steep in history and surrounded by nature.
00:39We are in the Bay Dalar coastal national park, a paradise for nature enthusiasts.
00:45It stretches 34,000 hectares from sea level to the summit of Mount Olympus.
00:52One of the park's landmarks is Phaselis, the last city on the eastern border of Lycia, founded around 700 BC.
01:01Completely abandoned from the beginning of the 13th century, the ruins survived to the present day
01:08and are mostly from the Roman and Byzantine periods.
01:12First excavated in the 20th century, archaeological work here is still happening.
01:18So what's this?
01:19Archaeic sungai's altar is called altar.
01:23It's called church, an altar in 2014 when we come to work at the past year.
01:25We've spent the time of chapter 24 and the week before the 21st century,
01:28which in 2,000 years was a ritual in art that was written by religion.
01:30We're used to like an ancient ritual, which also known as ancient collections of old ancient Clock and old ancient cults,
01:35And ancient cults and small cults are the пр interpretations.
01:39Excavary and cover the main street, lined with Roman baths, shops and a theatre, a glimpse into ancient urban life.
01:47But what made Faselis truly important was its location.
01:52With three natural harbors, it became a hub for trade across the region.
01:57Time here among the trees and stones seems to stand still.
02:24Faselis blends history and nature with a unique chance to swim among ancient structures.
02:30I'm leaving the stillness of ancient ruins behind
02:41and setting off on an adrenal impact adventure.
02:44I'm on my way to the Goynuk Canyon.
02:47Are you ready?
02:48Goynuk Canyon, located on the Likian Way in the southwest of Antalya, is pure magic.
03:00Today I'm trying canyoning, an outdoor sport that mixes climbing, swimming
03:05and cold water thrills in wild natural gorges.
03:10Goynuk Canyon stretches four and a half kilometers
03:16with clear waters and scenic waterfalls
03:19and there's one spot along the way that seems like it's from another world.
03:23I don't know what.
03:47Beyond the adrenaline, canyoning gives you a feeling of freedom.
04:02With many people eager to reconnect with nature, the canyon descent is very popular.
04:25The last stop is 2365 meters above sea level, the summit of Mount Olympus, which you can reach with a cable car.
04:34The landscape from inside is breathtaking, but when you get to the top, it's even better.
04:40Up here on Mount Olympus, I really get why people once believed the gods lived here.
04:46Antalya is a land of contrast and stories. Sometimes you have to reach the top to truly see it all.
