There is no agreement between Malaysia and the United States—or any other country—for the exclusive supply of rare earths, said Investment, Trade and Industry Minister Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Abdul Aziz.

Speaking at a press briefing on Friday (Aug 1), Zafrul dismissed such claims and clarified that the US has never made any request for exclusive access.
