00:25family mansion in Buziga Hill, a suburb of Kampala, featured strict security arrangements,

00:31including armed guards, phone jammers, and multiple security gates.

00:35Mamdani, 33, married artist and animator Rama Dawaji, 27, in February of this year.

00:42Last Sunday, he announced on social media that he was celebrating his wedding in his birthplace,

00:48Uganda, with his mother, acclaimed filmmaker Miraner, and father, renowned professor Mahmood Mamdani.

01:18Outside the Mamdani house, there were more than 20 Special Forces guards, many wearing masks.

01:23At one gate, there were at least nine security guards. The event was strictly by invitation,

01:29and phone jamming systems were also active. On Thursday, guests danced to the music of a local

01:35DJ and enjoyed various fruit juices in an atmosphere resembling an Indian celebration.

01:41That night, Mamdani himself addressed the guests, and the party ended after midnight.

01:46On Friday, military-style tents were seen being dismantled in the estate grounds,

01:52and then Mamdani's personal security team took over the security duties, said an eyewitness.
