00:15some new laws issued by world rugby this is to make the game cleaner and faster for the guys
00:20watching in this video i'm going to be talking about the number nine staying at the tunnel of
00:24the scrim this is to ensure that the nine who's trying to get the ball away has enough time and
00:28space and not going to be causing any unnecessary infringement and slowing the game down the law
00:321938 states that once playing the scrum begins the team who doesn't have the ball their number nine
00:38has to stay near the scrum and cannot go past the center line of the tunnel this is to ensure the
00:43nine getting the ball away has enough time and space to do so in the first clip the white nine puts the
00:48ball in and the green number nine takes up his position he's close to the scrum and doesn't go
00:52past the center line of the tunnel in the second clip white number nine puts the ball in the green
00:57number nine is close to the scrum and once the ball is played he retires back with his team five meters
01:03in the third clip green puts the ball into the scrum and the white number nine retires to the back foot
01:08of his number eight he is allowed to move along the field as long as he stays in line with his number
01:13eight back feet all three examples here are legal and in accordance with law 1938 best of luck for this
