00:00here's your robin hood chart now this really did kind of seem like it was priced to perfection
00:04robin hood down about two percent here today but that doesn't really tell the full story because
00:09initially robin hood popped after giving uh after reporting these earnings it did come back in now
00:15it's drifting a little bit lower so part of me wonders if this is just it's had its run it really
00:21needs a pullback maybe we do get some support around that round 100 number we have the 20 day
00:26moving average sitting there at 100.89 and frankly even if it excuse me even if it breaks down through
00:33that 20 day a pullback down to this 85 ish 84 and a half to 85 level i i want to call this consolidation
00:42even though it was three days but it was three days of sideways trading here for robin hood which seems
00:48to be in the uh minority camp there so we'll see if 85 represents another downside level if it does in
00:55fact a break through that 20 day if it's unable to hold it one other thing to keep an eye out for
01:00here if you're looking at hood for a trade if you're looking to enter for a new trade a dip beneath this
01:0520 day and a recapture i think within three sessions might actually provide another move to the upside so
01:11that's something else you can watch here on hood let's take a look at some of the numbers i know vlad
01:16was on cnbc this morning but i was preparing couldn't catch all of it uh robin hood reported second
01:22quarter earnings revenue of 989 million that's up 45 percent year over year the revenue beat a street
01:29consensus estimate of 898.95 million my god they beat it by almost 100 million dollars big beat there
01:35too the company's transaction based revenue was up 65 year over year to 539 million uh and it breaks down
01:43as follows option revenue up 46 year over year at 265 million cryptocurrencies revenue 160 million
01:53that's up 98 year over year 98 just huge equities revenue 66 million that's plus 65 year over year so
02:03interesting thing here options the biggest trade here at robin hood at least by revenue cryptocurrency
02:09coming in second and old-fashioned equities if we can say that coming in third there the company
02:15reported earnings per share of 42 cents beating the street consensus estimate of 29 cents robin hood
02:20ended the quarter with 26 and a half million funded customers which was up 10 year over year investments
02:26of that and excuse me investment accounts were up 10 year over year in the quarter to 27 and a half
02:32million the company's total platform assets were 99 year over year up to 279 billion net deposits 13.8
02:41billion robin hood entered the quarter with record three and a half million robin hood gold subscribers
02:49the company bought back 124 million dollars in shares during the quarter at an average price of
02:544152 their buyback was at 4152 the current stock price is over a hundred oh man robin hood closed
03:04its acquisition of bitstamp on june 30th bitstamp trading volumes reached 7 billion following the
03:09acquisitions closure in june of 2025 robin hood app crypto notional trading volumes reached 28 billion for
03:17the quarter that represents a 32 year over year increase vlad quote we delivered strong business results
03:24in q2 yeah you think we delivered strong business results in q2 driven by relentless product
03:30velocity and we launched tokenization which i believe is the biggest innovation in our industry

03:55let me know let me know if i got that one right uh to close in the second half of the fiscal year
04:00quote q3 is off to a great start in july as customers accelerated their net deposits to around 6 billion
04:07and leaned in with strong trading across categories that came from jason warnick robin hood's chief
04:14financial officer the company stated that it anticipates full year adjusted operating expenses
04:21and share-based compensation to be within a range of 2.15 billion to 2.25 billion this is up from the
04:28previous range of 2.08 billion to 2.18 billion um and this was related to the bit stamp acquisition which
04:36closed in that quarter um so ryan here saying he's right on tokenization just because of the amount of
04:43time we actually had another story here on this uh ceo vlad tenov expressed a positive outlook towards
04:51the future of equity tokenization in the u.s on wednesday despite the potential regulatory hurdles
04:57that may arise during the company's second quarter earnings call tenov said that the real opportunity
05:02in the u.s lies in tokenizing assets that were previously inaccessible such as private markets and real
05:09world assets think about spacex uh in this case quote we're working with regulators to make that
05:15possible we need to look at accreditation laws we're also on a good path with securities tokenization
05:21but it that has to continue and we think we can unlock that opportunity tenov viewed uh that as more
05:28infrastructure moves from centralized legacy counterparties to blockchain the cost of operating uh the cost of
05:36operating the business would decrease eventually benefiting customers when asked if tokenized
05:42securities would have any effect on spot cryptocurrency prices tenov said i don't think that we're likely to
05:48see any impact we just don't feel like there's much of a connection between how customers are even thinking
05:54about pricing in these various asset classes robin hood unveiled a suite of products during its event in
06:02france for its european customers the highlight of which was a blockchain powered tokenized tokenized
06:08equities of companies like open ai and spacex the offerings however ran into uh controversy as they
06:16say across the pond after open ai denied involvement with robin hood regarding them robin hood has been
06:23building a case to tokenize private stocks encouraging policy makers to explore the untapped potential of
06:29blockchain in u.s capital markets in may it proposed a federal framework to the sec bringing real world
06:37assets on chain the company reported its second quarter financials after the market closed with crypto
06:43revenue nearly doubling the overall revenue rose 45 year over year beating analyst expectations robin hood
06:53shares dipped um about a half a percent and after hours trading after closing 2.77 higher as we mentioned
07:01here today robin hood has extended that pull down here uh it's down just shy of two percent uh here today
07:08so ryan let me know i to me i'll be honest if if i you know just kind of thinking of my own personal
07:15situation here being a a schwab client now and using thinkorswim they don't have that tokenization option
07:22and if robin hood just kind of released that and you told me well ryan you can actually invest in
07:28spacex right now or open ai right now maybe opening a robin hood account would actually be something i'd
07:35look at since i can't do it here now i do think competition eventually will even the playing field
07:40but if you want to be first or you want to be in early might have to either move or open a new account
