00:00What do you make of that, Howard?
00:02The idea that is it fair pay for the same amount of effort
00:08that they put in?
00:09Does this always need to be distilled down to profits
00:13or are we talking just good old-fashioned gender exploitation?
00:19Hmm.
00:22Howard, can you hear us?
00:26I think we may have an audio issue there with Howard.
00:29So let me put that to you, Pearl.
00:31What do you think?
00:32What about the fair pay for the effort that they put in?
00:38Women are very lucky in this society.
00:41We are so lucky to even have women's sports at all.
00:46I think we're incredibly lucky to be able to play sports
00:52even though we operate at a loss.
00:53And it's very frustrating when I hear women whining
00:56and crying about not getting paid enough.
00:58When I have family members that are in the military,
01:01I have family members that, you know, do the hard jobs in society,
01:04and you guys are crying because you're not getting paid enough
01:08to dribble a basketball.
01:09Nobody watches women's sports.
01:11No one does.
01:12I've played sports for 20 years.
01:14The reason that women, the reason people are tuning in for Caitlin Clark
01:21is because of the drama.
01:23So people kind of like to see the catfights on the court.
01:26Nobody's tuning into the WNBA to watch a bunch of missed layups.
01:30And I played basketball for 20 years, okay?
01:32I played overseas, you know, but I have to be honest,
01:36all the people complaining about equal pay,
01:38they were never out by games ever.
