00:16During the first regular session of the 20th Congress on Monday morning, hours before President Marcos' sauna,

00:23Briones was photographed from behind by a news lensman while watching what appeared to be a cockfighting video.

00:30However, Briones insisted that he wasn't playing online sabong at that time, nor does he know how to engage in e-sabong.

00:37He said what actually happened was that he clicked a link that was sent to him by his nephew.

00:42Some of his Solon colleagues have earlier appealed for the viral sabong watcher to come out and apologize for tarnishing the image of the house.

00:51Briones later said that he will not file a case and has already forgiven the photographer.

00:55Even though he said that the photographer should be the one to issue an apology for branding the image as online sabong.
