A 31-year-old chartered accountant, Dheeraj Kansal, was found dead in a Delhi guest house after inhaling helium gas.

00:19Deerach Kansal worked at a company in Gurugram.
00:22According to reports, he had checked into a guest house near Bengali market,
00:25which he had booked online the previous week.
00:26On July 29, when he failed to respond,
00:28opened the door to his room, the local police were alerted.
00:31A team from the Barakamba Road police station reached the spot and broke open the door.
00:34They found a pipe connected to a helium cylinder inserted into his mouth.
00:37During the investigation, it was found that he had ordered the helium cylinder
00:41from an e-commerce website in Ghaziabad.
00:43According to police, Kansal lost his father at the age of four,
00:45after which his mother remarried.
00:47He was brought up by his grandparents.
00:49Helium itself is intoxic, but inhaling it can be fatal
00:51because it displaces oxygen and causes suffocation within minutes.
00:54It is also readily available,
00:56as it is commonly sold in stores for filling party balloons.
