Cannock Fire disrupts many workers through the day.

A fire on an Industrial Estate just off Hemlcok  Way, has disruoted workers all day.

00:00So, you guys found out about the fire first this morning, so what was your

00:07first reaction when you found out what was going on?

00:12How it's going to affect us really isn't it? I see, obviously there's a shock at what's going on

00:17but at the same time you're thinking oh this is going to really disrupt our day

00:19as well. And what's been the disruption in that case?

00:23Well what we do is we do manufacturing and rental, obviously customers all around the country want

00:28products offers to be delivered like today and tomorrow and stuff so they rely on us to get stuff out.

00:33We're not getting out today or tomorrow it's going to cause a knock-on effect so we lose customers

00:38and it's this that way and obviously it affects them they can't do their shows or whatever they

00:43need to get done with our equipment you know. And there's that many different businesses around

00:47here that when something like this happens, like you said it's knock-on effect it's not just for you

00:51for everybody within the estate as well? Yeah of course it is yeah well everyone in the whole

00:55areas it's been affected to be fair so yeah but it's the biggest problem is not knowing what's

01:00happening there's not really any communication or anything you know to let us know what's happening.

01:05But obviously you got evacuated to KFC. Yeah. But are you you've been told what's to say right

01:11now you've been told go back to the site or at least go and get your cars? Collect the vehicles that's

01:14it really yeah yeah we haven't really got any information yet on what tomorrow is going to play out you

01:20know so is that going to affect us tomorrow and everything else as well.
