00:04Mariah Carey, the mom, is getting real, making rare comments about co-parenting with her ex, Nick Cannon.

00:15In a new interview with Harper's Bazaar UK, Mariah calls her 14-year-old twins rock and row the major loves of her life

00:23and offers a candid take on splitting time between two households.

00:27Quote, how do I say this? They spend time with him and they have a good time.

00:33They spend time with me and they have a good time.

00:35We made some amazing children together.

00:37You did.

00:38And so we'll always, we'll always be together.

00:43Mariah and Nick tied the knot in 2008 after a whirlwind romance, welcoming their twins three years later.

00:50The pair ultimately split in 2014 and now Mariah tells the mag, quote,

00:54I want to make sure I'm always fair about the situation because it's tough to grow up with divorced parents.

01:00It's just about being really nice with the other parent and not making it like a competition or anything like that.

01:08Since then, Nick has made headlines for expanding his family, now a father of 12 and openly navigating life with multiple co-parents.

01:16We all come together, but it's all out of unconditional love, man, and everybody's in great spirits.

01:21So it's, I'm not one of those people that like to separate and create animosity and stuff.

01:26Like I try to make every environment and every situation I'm in a peaceful environment.

01:30And I think everybody else follows suit.

01:32So it's all love.

01:32Everything has been sweet.

01:34As for Mariah, she's keeping her focus on her teens.

01:38While she's rumored to be dating musician Anderson . . .

01:41In fact, she won't confirm the relationship to Harper's.

01:43Instead, she simply labels herself a romantic.
