00:12by the administration's curious approach to recent events. So, you know, I kind of
00:18recall back to last month when the president had his military parade here in Washington.
00:24It did not go very well. It was choreographed poorly, and it seemed a sort of ridiculous
00:32spectacle juxtaposed with the U.S. joining Israel and its strikes on Iran. Same thing here.
00:39The administration should be celebrating, as Joss mentioned, the six-month anniversary.
00:44It was little marked in D.C. or in conservative circles elsewhere because the administration
00:50has decided to claim after 10 years of anti-establishment energy that there's nothing
00:57to the Jeffrey Epstein story. And I think everybody knows that that's basically not true.
01:02If the administration had said, look, we don't have the goods, we call for further investigations,
01:09we call for victims to come forward, I think that would have been one thing. But I think,
01:15you know, for Epstein scandal to be shut down, especially after the last 45 days of U.S. foreign
01:21policy, where U.S. has been just hook, line, and sinker with the Israelis, and everybody knows
01:27that the leading theory on why Epstein was such a major sport for American foreign policy in the
01:34American scene is that he very likely was tied to Israel. And I think the optic anus.
01:40Okay, wait a minute. I'm not going to let that stand at all. That anti-Semitic conspiracy theory
01:46has been debunked. It's ridiculous. It's hostile to Jewish people. And it's not the core of the
01:52whole issue here right now, which is that the crisis that we're seeing is of Donald Trump's
01:58own making of 10 years of indulging his base in conspiracy theory and turning them on to all the
02:05dark demons that are somehow mystically controlling the government. And of course, to Kurt's, you know,
02:11also dark conspiracy theory there, sort of feeding into the long-term anti-Semitic tropes that Trump
02:17and his team have also promoted. So now he's getting, from a Democratic perspective, exactly what
02:23he asked for. And I think for Democrats, we're just sitting back and watching, although, of course,
02:28asking people what the answer is to two questions. Was he lying to you all the time to his base? Or is
02:35he covering up and hiding, hiding his billionaire friends or hiding his own name from, as it was
02:41just reported yesterday, from being exposed as part of these files? And I think politically what this
02:47means is that independents are afraid of what they now see. You know, Donald Trump won this election
02:54because he was able to peel off significant chunks of the Democratic coalition, in particular in black
02:59and brown communities, and also moderate independents who thought that they needed a
03:04change, they needed a better economy. That's what he ran on. Now, all of a sudden, they're having
03:09buyers remorse. They're looking at this and they're saying, we didn't sign up for cover-ups of pedophiles
03:14by the president who said he wanted to be transparent. And they're fleeing. And that's why we're seeing
03:19Trump's numbers tanking now to below 40%. He's losing his base, and he's losing the independents
03:25who put him in power. But again, this idea of conspiracy theory, Jeffrey Epstein and Mossad,
03:30is beyond the pale, I think, for this discussion.
