Šventoji sala, nutolusi Šiaurės jūroje, tapo paskutiniu prieglobsčiu, tačiau ir kalėjimu. Griežtos taisyklės, nuolatinė baimė ir izoliacija kausto žmones, kol jaunas vaikinas ryžtasi pavojingai kelionei į žemyną. Ten jis atranda, kad virusas mutavo ir kelia dar didesnį pavojų.
