00:00Chas, many thanks for joining us. I see the smile on your face.
00:04Just your thoughts on the game. Obviously, the first goal you scored was an absolute cracker,
00:08but just a sucker punch right to the death.
00:11Yeah, obviously a superb goal from Luca Forte. A little bit of a wow factor.
00:17And from there, you're hoping to grow into the game.
00:20But listen, it's competition football. 60 minutes and fair play.
00:24They kept going. And these are the kind of challenges our boys need to deal with.
00:29You've got to deal with the direct balls and fair play to them.
00:33We did it yesterday because he did two in five minutes.
00:37But it's a learning curve for the young boys and these are the kind of things they need to learn.
00:41We get different challenges from England and the atmosphere is playing in the stadiums.
00:45And it's all part of their development.
00:46So listen, obviously we're disappointed, but we've got another game tomorrow and we'll see that what takes us.
00:52Yeah, and can I ask you what you're looking to get from the week really?
00:56Yeah, so we don't start officially till next week.
00:59So it's good to socially get all the lads together.
01:02We've been able to do a bit of training, obviously a bit of sightseeing and obviously the variety of different competitions.
01:08But obviously from a holistic point of view to see what the culture, what's the surrounding areas.
01:14And it's important for the boys to understand a bit of history as well.
01:16The parade was outstanding on Sunday.
01:19See all the people, the followers from Leeds, give them a chance.
01:23And again, it's memories for the boys.
01:25We'd love all the boys to go and play in the first team, but the reality is they may not.
01:28So things they'll take away and cherish for them.
01:31And finally, Northern Ireland's links.
01:33They have a lot of links with Leeds, obviously David Healy, George McCartney, Stuart Dallas and Bailey Peacock-Farrell and others.
01:39Yeah, hopefully again, things like that.
01:41Obviously we've got some recruitment staff and hopefully there'll be more to come and hopefully we're able to identify them.
01:45But I think it's just not even from a recruitment point of view, but also, like I said, building links and we'd like to come back again and with different age groups.
01:52And, you know, you talk about the history and, you know, the history of Super Cup is immense.
01:57And, you know, when you mention it to parents and players, they know it, it's symbolic.
02:01So to be a part of the legacy and hopefully continue the legacy is massive.
