00:00in this business like everybody has a million names you know obviously my real name's Paul
00:10Levesque but nobody in the business called me that until only a few years ago but you know
00:15a lot of guys also call me Hunter a lot of guys call me Triple H a lot of guys call me H a lot
00:21of guys call me trips back 20 30 years ago you never talked about somebody outside of their
00:31characters the world has changed people that aren't fans think like isn't that just a bunch
00:41of guys pretending to fight you got a map down yeah I believe that our business is actually
00:47more complex than anybody understands tell them to go now tell them to go now this is a calculated
00:52coordinated production seven days a week 365 days a year soap opera baby the story never ends you
01:04guys had no idea right no no and as we enter into a new era here there are a million things to figure
01:11out we have one of the all-time greats coming back for a retirement run we have incredible
01:21performers still in their prime we have storylines that are years in the making young talent that will
01:31become that next generation of superstars I won't put a rocket on your ass everybody wants a spot
01:38but there are only so many available oh my god yeah I fucking peed myself that is the biggest
01:48challenge it's like putting together a puzzle but the pieces are always moving oh god we're gonna
01:55lift the curtain we're gonna show you things you've never seen in this show oh no no no
01:59for the first time ever we're gonna show you how the story unfolded john before your eyes I was so
02:11scared not to come back it's good enough for the fans all fucking losing it right now you've always
02:17been a main event guys I don't get here without you thank you this is absolute insanity I need your soul
02:25ready here it is two give two camera two camera
02:29just get started man
02:33you
02:35hey hey how are you you want to do some Christmas stuff today you want to put ornaments on the tree
03:01yeah okay do you want to put this you want to put this guy Shawn Michaels gingerbread Shawn Michaels
03:07he was my favorite wrestler all right so we're just like that too like gingerbread yeah he was made
03:14of gingerbread that was they used to call it sweet chin music because of the gingerbread my name is Cody
03:21Runnels and my wrestling name and what I go by and pretty much I've gone by my whole life is Cody Rhodes
03:29Libby thinks that Cody is a professional dancer
03:33because she saw entrances which is the big music and the lighting I think she thinks there's a component
03:44of dancing to it and has asked me before are you gonna go dancing will you be dancing and I think
03:51she's even said when we showed her a couple clips on YouTube oh this is the dancing
03:55it's not the worst parallel
04:05I'm good with that
04:10if when asked what Papa does for a living I'm a dancer for my daughter I'd be the best thing dancer I
04:22possibly can be my role in WWE is that I am currently the undisputed WWE Champion
04:32it is a role that is kind of the hood ornament for the company I get to be one of the most authentic if
04:45not most authentic wrestlers of this era simply for the fact that I play myself I am myself Cody is
04:55the closest thing right now I think that we have to just a pure babyface that spot my opinion probably
05:04the most difficult spot in the business right now easy to be a bad guy tell people a bunch of
05:10convoluted shit that seems reasonable to you and I said that's fun and easy just to be the guy that
05:16does the right thing all the time and overcomes and always succeeds people sort of feel it's predictable
05:22people start to feel like it's like nobody's that good you know it's it's a tough thing
05:27I felt like such a bigger babyface
05:31yeah as white meat as you could be yeah as fucking white meat as you could be be that way until we
05:39can anymore you know yeah it ain't going anywhere now we just got to navigate it that's our fucking
05:45job our job me you fucking everybody but we navigate this now and figure out where we need to get it
05:51at some point here in a minute I need to get a picture of you with that okay one of my favorite
05:56ones ever there's a huge difference between being a wrestler and the WWE champion I've seen Cody through
06:06every one of those seasons and this by far the demand of the job is unimaginable I'm incredibly lucky
06:16that my wife and I met in wrestling otherwise she would have left she knows what this push is
06:23she knows what it could mean for the future and she knows what it means right here and now
06:30people say it all the time the face of the company yeah when people say that my heart like skips a beat
06:39um kid I always wanted to be that I just didn't know I could there you go look that's perfect
06:47so January 6th the premiere on Netflix fun raw
07:05is massively important for this company putting us on a platform that is what 300 million homes in
07:19that ballpark globally it's a lot of people yes Paul is our chief content officer his experience as
07:32being a former superstar for so many years has kind of helped aid him as a performer he was great
07:40he was a student of the game you know kind of understood the bigger picture of storytelling
07:52so now he's brought that to his role as chief content officer here I think Cody doesn't have
08:01like a role in this show I think he's been eyeballing this show as far as like want to be a part of it
08:06with Cody Rhodes the bigger the star the more you want to provide some scarcity of their star power
08:17to keep them as big as they are so it's special when Cody Rhodes is there and fans see that and feel
08:25that and they're anticipating your return even more so you have to know where everything is going
08:32long term and way in advance so we tend to break it down sort of into seasons the season will start
08:39with January 6th the Netflix premiere we'll do the weekly television shows at minimum twice a week
08:49along the way we will do the Royal Rumble which kicks off the road to Wrestlemania we will do
08:55Elimination Chamber which continues that road to Wrestlemania and then we will get to Wrestlemania
09:00itself which is a two-day basically it's our Super Bowl along the way you're building up these
09:09storylines obviously the biggest storylines revolve around our biggest stars chief among them being
09:16Cody Rhodes but John Cena is coming back for one last year of a retirement run arguably one of the
09:25greatest performers in the greatest performers in the history of our business and the return of John
09:30is a wonderful thing and a challenge at the same time my name is John Cena the name I use in the ring
09:37is John Cena my government name is John Cena wrestling is the foundation of the house of my family
09:44relationship I grew up in a family of five boys and wrestling was our conduit it was our connection system
09:51I appreciate this as my hobby that's the best of imagination land the not only did I do it during
10:01my free time but I paid to do it that I am the future of this business so I would do this for free
10:10I just physically can't do it anymore Cody Rhodes is in many ways kind of inherited that mantle
10:18from John Cena and Cody understood just how much the Netflix premiere meant for the company and Cody
10:26I think just feeling as if he is he calls himself the quarterback of of the team he wanted to be a part of
10:31it Cody wants to save Cena I know Cody wants it like they all square up the fucking you know take
10:39Cena down and Cody runs in and fucking makes the save totally understood obviously on big shows
10:44in company history Cody is no fucking franchise player for every reason to have him on the show
10:48obviously we don't have a half a dozen heels who are just everybody's got stories so it's like
10:54we're going to chuck judgment day out there you know it's yeah also and I get Cody's point of view
10:59but also like the first time we see John Cena in what a year but like he first time he comes out and
11:09like somebody's got to save him just feels off to me too we can write and choreograph whatever we want
11:17back here you have to be ready for the element you can't control and that's the audience if you ignore
11:24them man they will skewer you but I think whatever a performer does they have to invest in it and
11:32the roster is pretty deep but we got a lot of all-stars it's right now I have punk and Seth
11:38Roman and Solo we had Liv matches are so big you would want to give them time
11:46I love like taxidermy stuff so I have a two-headed duck I have an octopus a bat crocodile I have this
12:05little like mozzie mosquito this is like a shrunken head like I love creepy artwork and and dark colors
12:15and I love all of that stuff that's why my office looks like this technically my name is Demity Bennett
12:23but I go by Rhea Ripley and that's what everyone really knows me by Rhea is a goddess name and Ripley
12:31is from the chick from aliens because she's a badass and I just put them together ah ah thought it made
12:36sense I'm from Adelaide South Australia I watched WWE growing up absolutely loved it WWE came to
12:46Australia when I was 17 years old and they gave me a tryout then but I was too young they ended up
12:52coming back when I was 20 and they had another tryout so they invited me to that and yeah I mean the rest
12:59is pretty much history it's weird describing really for me because I am Rhea Ripley it's just
13:10like a 10 times version of myself she's crazy she's kind of scary but you're kind of attracted to her
13:23at the same time Rhea Ripley absolutely possessed I like to say that it's the side of me that would
13:29get arrested in everyday life she's just absolutely chaotic and sadistic and manipulative it's all the
13:38the sides of me that I don't like to show in my everyday life I'm always like Demi Bennett right before
13:44and I'm like freaking out and then as soon as my music plays I'm Rhea Ripley
13:49when that music hits it's a moment in the crowd and it's undeniable she has it she can be the biggest
14:05star in this business for a long time to come yeah I sorry my dog is playing with this tennis ball
14:12but this is Luna she's my first child Barry's my second and then Bella is my third Barry's always
14:22everyone's favorite aren't you Baz and you're the most annoying middle child that I have ever met
14:27huh yeah you got bad breath too so the story between me Liv and Dom has actually been going for like an
14:37eternity it feels like it this has gone on long enough Liv and I we have been feuding for like three
14:49years it's been a long time because we started as a tag team in Dom and I we kind of just like we
14:57kind of got put into this storyline together which I don't think was supposed to be a relationship
15:04storyline and then Liv Morgan decided to try and steal my family which she accomplished Dom turned
15:13on me and helped Liv beat me for the Women's World Championship it was a wild ride
15:22before that she ruined my entire life at work and she's she's sort of sucker attacking you and
15:39did you want me to sort of fight back a little bit or just take it depends depends on what she's
15:44like what is she throwing do we know and that's where my whole year kind of changed
15:53she threw me into the wall but like I have a third grade AC sprain I full-on broke character as well
16:04in in that scene my collarbone and my shoulder blade got ripped apart she had to kick me into the second wall
16:12but my shoulder was already stuffed up so I'm like holding my arm when Liv gets on me and starts punching me in the shoulder in the bad shoulder and I was like somebody please get her off me
16:24bruh I felt it as soon as I hit the wall I was like I grabbed it and I was like oh shit
16:35so I had a grade three AC sprain which means that my shoulder blade and my collarbone aren't connected
16:57anymore the only way to get them back together is through surgery and I opted not so like it was
17:02either surgery you have a scar or no surgery you have a massive lump in your shoulder so um that's
17:09why I have this bad boy so he looks pretty gnarly sometimes but it's just gonna be there until I decide
17:20to fix it if I do because I can still go back and have the surgery I just don't want to have that extra
17:25time off because it's gonna be six months compared to three months I know this sucks do not freak out
17:31we will make this into something wonderful okay sorry I'm sorry physical business shit gets everybody
17:41nobody walks out on skis
17:43my entire life I've done this so I can't say it's any harder now just because I'm older
18:06you know it's always been tough suffering is relative it's situational so now I think the landscape
18:15is changing so much and that excites me so I'm looking at that as like this is uncharted water I've never
18:24been more excited my name is punk cm punk punker cookie monster pepsi phil um black philip
18:34my government name is phil yeah it's a it's a white accountant's name
18:39I started wrestling in my friend's backyard in 1993 I started wrestling professionally in 1997
18:50I was always drawn to punk rock because if there was a rule of punk rock it's be yourself
18:57I have a hall of fame career I could put up against anybody oh my god
19:04CM punk is leaving with a WWE championship but if there was one thing in the sport I have not
19:12accomplished it's main event in wrestlemania initially uh hunter and I clashed because I was
19:20a main talent roster full-time the same time he was a main talent roster full-time so there's that
19:26competition and a lot of that generation was looking down at kids like me saying oh you're here to take
19:34my spot well I'm not going to let you or at least it's going to be a fight halfway through my career
19:40here he becomes office and now I'm like fuck you you can't tell me anything I always felt like my job
19:46was I'm in between office and the talent but punk would never let me assist and he would then
19:53sometimes attack me like you know where there would be moments where we'd have a meeting and he'd come
19:59at me and I'd leave there thinking like this little motherfucker punk didn't trust me and I didn't trust
20:06punk I had been on the road 365 days a year for 10 years straight after a while
20:14the wheels fell off John Cena while you you lay there I have a lot of things I want to get off my
20:24chest and you can say that I have a big mouth and I talked a lot of shit that doesn't mean anything I
20:32said was nothing short of 100% fact I'm not on your lovely little collector cups I'm not on the cover of
20:40the program I'm barely promoted I don't get to be in movies but the fact that Dwayne is in the main
20:47event of Wrestlemania next year and I'm not makes me sick
20:50this was Phil Brooks talking through the mouth of CM Punk and saying all the things that you weren't
21:00supposed to say if I didn't take myself off the hamster wheel nobody else was gonna and they
21:07they were gonna work me until I died when I left this place in 2014 I was heartbroken it took maybe
21:1610 years for me to heal from a lot of things we'd had conversations over the years for me to be able
21:23to come back here and just nothing nothing stuck I felt like how he communicated with others needed to
21:32change one time when he and I met after he had left this is years later where there was a conversation
21:40about him coming back I said still the same dude won't work the last time that we met and talked
21:47with him I felt like he honestly was different it seemed almost like in the phone call we both
21:54realizing oh he's different no I'm different let's give it a shot it has been quite the night
22:02at the sold out all-state arena in Chicago
22:05it's fair to say that me returning to WWE is the biggest return of all time
22:27he clearly knows he's much closer to the end than he is the beginning when you get to a certain age
22:45you start thinking about look I'm I'm one big injury away from I don't want to do this anymore
22:50looking at myself and my career right now I think my role on the roster is I feel like we need to
23:01take another picture yeah like work out and I'm the player coach can we do that yeah can you take a
23:06picture for us I'm I just I'm a huge mark for Rhea today I love it for Rhea yes I have years of
23:16experience that a lot of experience that a lot of people don't have I have made more mistakes
23:22and I am happy to help them learn from them I love you Jacob I love you punk by the way can I get a
23:30picture with you yeah 100 percent
23:32on January 6th it is not just the launch of raw on Netflix it is a new launch of WWE world wide
23:50main eventing Wrestlemania meant that you were the number one guy in the industry
24:02I'm looking at Netflix like there's only one debut raw broadcast let's do it start by putting over
24:11the match we're gonna call Seth out this is the thing I'm not going to begin gets in your face
24:16on it's first night Monday night raw Netflix one of the most anticipated matches ever you against
24:35Seth Rollins personal animosity disdain Seth right now looks and sounds like CM Punk from 2013 I know
24:43you know everybody else knows this is your last chance one of two things is gonna happen you're gonna
24:51self-destruct like you always do or if by some miracle you have changed and you've got any gas left in this
25:02old tank maybe one day you'll be lucky enough to stand across the ring from me and then I will expose you
25:11for the fraud that you are
25:13I think to understand you have to talk about the history between myself and Seth Rollins and it goes
25:24back quite a bit you're talking about the 16 year old Seth Rollins came to CM Punk and asked him to train him
25:32for free for free now that entitlement I think has carried over into the adult Seth Rollins now I don't claim to do those
25:42things because I wanted to thank you I recognize that that 16 year old kid had all the potential in the world and in my
25:49absence from this company Seth did a fantastic job of filling that vacuum but simply put the starters back second string got to sit back down on the bench
25:58back down on the bench
26:00back to the house that I built when you abandoned ship I got nothing left to say who's the bootlicker now bitch
26:05come on I got nothing left to say I have a microphone yeah I don't need a mic I don't need a mic I don't need a microphone
26:12the house that i built when you abandoned ship i got nothing left to say who's the bootlicker now
26:19bitch come on i got nothing left to say i have a microphone i don't need a mic i don't need a
26:27microphone i don't know if he was right here right now
26:31yeah so before we get into anything deeper than that let's talk about gorilla position
27:01you know years ago when tv production started to become a thing
27:09gorilla monsoon very famous wrestler he was timing things and controlling things
27:19from the area right before talent would walk out to go to the ring that became known as gorilla position
27:26gorilla position in today's world it is the epicenter of everything we do the show is run
27:35from there the gorilla position is probably the most important position in the arena
27:44have a great show guys you basically control the world that night your world the world wrestling
27:52entertainment is controlled from the gorilla position
27:55you know the gorilla position is very unique in every arena it's custom built however the the inside
28:06and the workings of it are the same there's primarily three tables set up inside gorilla position
28:11there's one table where triple h and bruce pritchard are sitting there's another table where billy kidman
28:18who is our producer responsible for timing out the show and keeping tabs on times next to him will sit
28:24the respective match producer
28:25as a producer i'm basically the liaison if you will between the talent and the heads of creative
28:33stay tight right here he'll convert this over
28:37nice all of our producers are former in-ring talents so for example chris park who was known as abyss
28:47another match producer is bobby rood michael hayes from the fabulous freebirds is our longest tenured
28:56producer and bruce pritchard is the executive director of the creative writing team so the
29:04mechanics during the match for me and the reason i'm wearing a headset is i'm talking to the truck
29:09keeping them about 10 or 15 seconds ahead of what's going on in the ring so that the cameras capture the
29:15story that we're trying to tell the whole story is we want to catch puck looking to the top of the
29:19cage for this last one bunk's eyes yeah there it is that is a great shot another thing that i'm doing
29:26on that headset as well is i'm talking to the referees the referees can hear me we need to go spider
29:32we need to go get him there quick i told him i told him the producers are talking to the referees
29:40all right stay with jacob braun's going to meet him with a chair that he's pulling from behind
29:44time keepers it's a whole nother world in my earpiece so the fans you guys are seeing just
29:49two wrestlers wrestling you know but in my ear i'm listening to at least in a match like five
29:54different things jacob jacob okay everybody's good he's selling if the talent needs to pick up
30:02their energy needs to have more urgency needs to slow down let something breathe whatever that
30:08instruction is it goes right through the ref be careful i'm swinging a chair near the fans
30:15block be careful oh damn it do not push fans right to the gun right to the back to the back again
30:24oh those are extras
30:25yes those are extras
30:30timing's probably the biggest pitfall that we need to look out for
30:34i can relay messages through the referees to the talent
30:38so a lot of times it's hey guys we only have two minutes left we're not gonna be able to
30:42fit all four of this in so that becomes stressful
30:44going heavy or going short are equally bad so plan a hit your time plan b hit your time
30:55how much time we in oh we're good we're good we're good we're real good our business is about
31:03telling stories this is awesome thanks everything we want it more and the epicenter of making that
31:11happen in real time live is gorilla position
31:15so
31:29so
31:33larry
31:37damien
31:39damien
31:41good boy
31:43Oh, boy. I'm gonna go to work. Okay.
31:57I just feel this incredible weight of pressure and responsibility.
32:05And these are the moments in where I move the best.
32:11This is where I thrive.
32:14Calm waters don't make good sailors.
32:20I think everybody needs a little bit of the adversity.
32:25Maybe a little less bullshit, but the adversity is a good thing.
32:32How are you feeling?
32:32How are you feeling?
32:33I'm not there yet.
32:38What do you think you need?
32:39I'm good.
32:39Unless you're not fucking Peggy.
32:41No, I don't.
32:42I don't want you to do your thing.
32:44Well, then we're off, though.
32:45I don't want you to do your thing.
32:46I don't want you to do your thing.
32:49I don't want you to do your thing.
32:51The day came and it was just stressful.
32:56Just plain and simple stressful.
32:58I just didn't have any brain cells working that day.
33:09It felt like this was the biggest show of the year.
33:15Also, it was living my big blow-off match as well.
33:19I had all these things going through my mind.
33:22I don't know if I prepared. I definitely didn't sleep.
33:29I don't know if I'm dehydrated.
33:32I know that I'm not ready for this.
33:41I was almost in tears.
33:43I just couldn't switch on at all.
33:54I didn't even know what makeup I wanted.
33:59I had gear made because it was such a big deal,
34:02and I didn't even end up wearing it.
34:03I just wore something else because I was like,
34:06I can't think, I can't put that on.
34:09I don't think it looks good on me because we just had Christmas too,
34:11so, like, I ate a little bit much.
34:13I'm like, I don't want to wear that, you know?
34:15So, girl problems, I know, but...
34:21Hey, how are you? Good to see you.
34:23Good to see you. Oh, yeah.
34:26Countdown 10-9-8 in here.
34:28I think that's okay.
34:29Appreciate you. I'm gonna go lay down.
34:32What are you saying?
34:33Paul sent me a text and he said,
34:34it's like mania.
34:35I broke back his finger.
34:37So, I feel like tonight I'm not taking the back seat,
34:41so I can sit back a little bit and enjoy it.
34:46And this is, um...
34:47You know it's time for the farewell tour.
34:49This hurts your hip, or like your SI joint.
34:55It'll be alright.
34:56Here we are.
35:06I thought and always want this to be right for you for the year.
35:08I want you to get to the end of this year and be like,
35:10man, that was everything I hoped it would be.
35:12You know?
35:14Well, it's like the last page in a 500-page book.
35:18Yeah.
35:19All of us would really have to fuck it up for that last page to ruin...
35:23Yeah, yeah, yeah.
35:24...499.
35:25There's a way.
35:26Sure.
35:27Sure.
35:28But I'll...
35:29I'll play the stats and say it's not gonna happen.
35:31Man, what a...
35:32What a night.
35:33Yeah.
35:34Thanks for helping us get here, man.
35:40This is Los Angeles.
35:42At home tonight doing historic Monday Night Raw
35:45in its premiere on Netflix.
35:47Are you ready?
35:53This is the WWE and we are louder than anything you have ever seen before.
36:05Welcome to Monday Night Raw.
36:09Welcome to the Netflix era.
36:17You're like Mania.
36:22You talk about history.
36:23You talk about record breaking.
36:24You think something we're talking about forever.
36:26That's this evening.
36:27And tonight is about to be the greatest night in the history of wrestling.
36:32The Rock.
36:33The Rock.
36:34Kicking off the Netflix era.
36:35Carrying the people's championship that was given to him by the widow of Muhammad Ali.
36:39Finally, The Rock has come back to Los Angeles.
37:16And I want to acknowledge this man has carried this company on his back for a year.
37:22Cody Rhodes.
37:23Thank you, brother.
37:24Thank you for the night.
37:25Enjoy this, man.
37:26I'll do my best.
37:27I know it's tough because we get in business mode, but man.
37:28I will.
37:29Enjoy this.
37:30I'm always present out there, so I'll do my best.
37:31Congratulations.
37:32Thank you, brother.
37:33Thank you for the night.
37:34Enjoy this, man.
37:35I'll do my best.
37:36I know it's tough because we get in business mode, but man.
37:39I will.
37:40Enjoy this.
37:41I'm always present out there, so I'll do my best.
37:43Congratulations.
37:44Thank you, brother.
37:46Every event is a new live event.
37:49And I only have a few more next ones left.
37:55But I've always lived by the philosophy that you're only as good as your next one.
38:02The hits keep coming.
38:06I enjoy when our audience takes over.
38:09And trying to figure out that Rubik's Cube and that riddle of what do I do now?
38:16This is what this year is about.
38:18It's about making moments.
38:20And who am I going to face at WrestleMania?
38:21Who am I going to face in my last match in December?
38:24They're throwing out all kinds of names like Drew McIntyre.
38:27CM Punk.
38:32Cody Rhodes.
38:37The best way to say thank you to you is win the Royal Rumble and make history at WrestleMania.
38:43Right?
38:44You want some?
38:47Come get some!
38:48Come get some!
38:49Come get some!
38:50Come get some!
38:56John, that was awesome.
38:58Thank you so much, man.
39:02I'm sorry I didn't want to bother you.
39:04I just want to say good luck, do your thing.
39:05Do your thing.
39:06Thank you for everything.
39:07Yes.
39:08All right, man.
39:09Thanks for caring for the company.
39:10All right, buckle.
39:11Knee.
39:12Roll out.
39:13Headbutt.
39:14Boom.
39:15Double set a little bit.
39:16Go to get her.
39:17Head kick.
39:18Boom.
39:19She whips me.
39:20I duck under.
39:21I go under.
39:22It's grip time.
39:23Boom.
39:24One, two, one.
39:25Oh, my God.
39:26What the fuck?
39:27Dom.
39:28Boom.
39:29Victoria.
39:30Oh, my God.
39:31What the fuck?
39:32Dom.
39:33Boom.
39:34Victoria.
39:35Oh, my God.
39:36Oh, my God.
39:37What the fuck?
39:38Victoria.
39:39Hit her.
39:40She drops the chair.
39:41Turn around.
39:42Fuck it.
39:43Whoa.
39:44It's a lot.
39:46I know.
39:47I like to go to priest.
39:49And I like to just, like, go over what I'm gonna be doing out there.
39:54Yeah, it's a lot.
39:55Just be prepared to cut.
39:57And because you can't just rush through everything without your emotion.
40:02So it was just him pretty much telling me, like, less is more, which is a massive thing.
40:07In this business, like, less is really more.
40:10Like I said, either slapping the mat or just a fucking scream, but, like, to yourself, not
40:14even from the crowd.
40:15Yeah.
40:16It's just realistic.
40:17You know what I mean?
40:18Like, you're like...
40:19And you stand up and then you catch that.
40:20And then you, I mean, mouth something if you want to say something, like, but naturally,
40:24for real, like, to look at her and be like, now I'm gonna fucking kill you without the
40:28fuck, but...
40:30Take it easy.
40:31But then it's so weird because, like, I went from having an emotional breakdown and a massive
40:38panic attack to hearing my music, walking out there and being completely fine.
40:43I'll eat, sleep, bleed, like demons in your dreams.
40:53I'll eat, sleep, bleed.
40:59Tonight, an opportunity for Rhea Ripley to get a title back.
41:03If you look up the word superstar in the dictionary, that woman's face would be on that page.
41:12Rhea Ripley has it all.
41:15And then just wanting to really blow that match out of the water.
41:20I feel like I've been living Groundhog Day for, like, the past two and a half years.
41:34So now that this is the end, it's kind of weird.
41:40Looking for a riptide now on Morgan.
41:42Riptide by Ripley.
41:43Stacks up Morgan for the championship.
41:46Morgan kicked out.
41:48It was just hard coming up with a different way to do it all.
41:53But we kind of, like, grabbed the ball and ran with it.
41:57Ruffering didn't see it.
41:59Cover!
42:01Alright, we still got about 45 seconds until we're back.
42:03Let her know.
42:0445 seconds, she can grab a hold of shots.
42:06Copy.
42:07Grab that hold.
42:11Liv and I really just wanted to go off with a bang.
42:15Rhea trying to fight back and somehow get into this.
42:20Looking for a oblivion yet again, this time intercepted.
42:23Rhea intercepted Liv.
42:25Not this time around, Rhea says.
42:27Looking into the eyes of Rhea.
42:30Bloody Ripley!
42:32The reaction for her is incredible.
42:35It's hard not to look at her as the most captivating woman on our roster.
42:44Rhea again, setting up Morgan for another riptide.
42:49Rhea's not done yet.
42:50A second riptide!
42:53Third of the match!
42:54Cover!
42:55Rhea Ripley wins the Women's World Title!
42:59And move.
43:01Ladies and gentlemen, strapped a rocket to her back!
43:06Put Monday Night Raw on it!
43:09What is this idiot doing?
43:12Of course, we all know Dominik's a gold digger.
43:15Of course, he wants Rhea back.
43:17She's the champ now.
43:18Rhea's face.
43:19Yeah, stay wide.
43:21Don't miss this kick.
43:26Yes!
43:27That was deep.
43:28Very deep.
43:29Riptide!
43:32To dumbass Dominik Mysterio!
43:38Congratulations to the brand new Women's World Champion, Rhea Ripley!
43:46Yeah!
43:47Good job, Amy!
43:48Good job!
43:49Yeah!
43:50It was fun, wasn't it?
43:51Fun!
43:52Great job!
43:53Sorry, I had to rush.
43:54We thought we were going to do the program right now.
43:55It was great.
43:57So proud of you.
43:58So proud of everything you've done.
44:00I can't tell you a time when I have felt like,
44:03Hey, who's the most over person in the company right now?
44:07And it's not like you're not one of the most over women here.
44:11One of the most older people here.
44:13It's amazing.
44:15It's really great.
44:16Your aura is off the chart.
44:18Congratulations.
44:19So good.
44:21I'm so proud of you.
44:23I appreciate it.
44:24Just getting started.
44:25Today was a completely different feeling.
44:28I know how much pressure was riding on this.
44:31I mean, I think it was a very successful night.
44:34We went out there.
44:36The crowd was into it the entire time,
44:38so I'm grateful to everyone here at WWE
44:42for letting the little girl in me from Athlete South Australia
44:46live out her wildest dreams.
44:48So you guys are my brutally honest European friends?
44:52You tell me how it is when I'm done.
44:54You know it.
44:55Depends on that.
44:56Those are the modes we're doing it for.
44:58High pressure?
44:59Yeah.
45:00Big expectations?
45:01Yes.
45:02I told Hunter today, you know, this big thing 10,
45:0712 years ago about the main event of WrestleMania.
45:10This is why did I fucking get what I asked for?
45:13Hell yeah.
45:14Hell yeah.
45:15I'm looking at that Rob debut like, holy shit.
45:23I constantly have what I call anticipatory anxiety now.
45:29Like right now, I'm just riddled with it.
45:32In a way, I'm almost waiting for it to all be over.
45:36The only time I'm not gonna feel that way is when the red light's on and the bell rings.
45:42I have no boss.
45:43I'm 100% in control.
45:44I can do whatever the fuck I want.
45:45Here we go.
45:46Two men that are beloved by the WWE Universe.
45:49Seth freakin' Rollins and a man who has become his arch nemesis.
46:04CM Punk.
46:05You all know, time-wise, just give me before 8 o'clock.
46:07Gotcha.
46:08We're good.
46:09We're just trying to back load it, Bruce.
46:10Keep you on it.
46:11Yes, sir.
46:12People had in their own minds that it's Netflix.
46:25We can go two hours, we can go three hours, we can go four hours if we want.
46:31Not true.
46:33You've gotta try to keep the emotions in check.
46:37It was a great match.
46:39It was awesome.
46:40Now Seth Rollins gonna send Punk into the barricade.
46:44But it was way long.
46:46Oh, and Rollins sent out into the middle of the WWE fans.
46:51Both these men are figuring out what the hell's gonna have to happen to get a win here tonight.
46:57Excellent, excellent.
47:00How over are we right now, Billy?
47:02How long?
47:03A minute 45.
47:08Once guys are in the ring, there's not a lot you can do.
47:14On his shoulders, looking for the go to sleep.
47:16He connects with Punk's finishing move.
47:18The GTS.
47:20Come on, man.
47:21We gotta go.
47:22We gotta go.
47:23From producers to writers to talent, everybody has to be able to edit on the spot.
47:28If I was gonna cut anything, I would cut the anaconda vice out.
47:32Just throw that out to Phil.
47:34Oh, stop!
47:35Now using Rollins' finishing move!
47:38One, two, three, four!
47:41I'm sorry, Bruce.
47:43Bruce, I'm pushing him, Bruce.
47:45I'm pushing him.
47:46I'm pushing him.
47:47Seth Rollins.
47:48Looking for a neck breaker.
47:50Punk counter with a kick to the side of the head.
47:52Back that up so quick.
47:54Running high knee.
47:55Oh, Rollins caught him.
47:56Intercepted at this time.
47:57We're gonna get a buckle bomb here.
47:59They cut it out.
48:00Yes, Bruce, we're heading home.
48:02We're heading home.
48:03We're heading home.
48:04So this is the finish right here.
48:06Two men who've defined so much here in WWE over the past 20 years.
48:13A match years in the making has come down to this.
48:17Two men, both five-time world champions, physically exhausted.
48:21Rollins able to scale to the top rope.
48:23He's got Punk where he wants him.
48:25Superplex.
48:26Rolled through by Rollins.
48:28Quick for the Falcon Arrow.
48:29Punk.
48:30GTS.
48:31Going to sleep.
48:32And I think he was out.
48:35Just so happened to fall right back onto CM Punk's shoulders.
48:40Punk trying to muscle him up.
48:47He does.
48:48A second go to sleep.
48:52One, two, three.
48:56CM Punk wins.
48:58Here is your winner, CM Punk.
49:04Punk.
49:05What a fight.
49:08What a night.
49:09Help get Punk to his feet.
49:13You can go off the air as he's getting him up here, Brian.
49:17Official Rod Zapata able to get Punk to his feet.
49:21Thank you everyone around the world for watching this history-making night.
49:26Bruce, I'm sorry we went over.
49:31We know it was two and a half.
49:33We cut out a bunch of shit.
49:35We cut out the anaconda vice.
49:37It was overwritten.
49:38It was overproduced.
49:39It was over everything else.
49:40It's fine.
49:41It was a great show.
49:42Yes, sir.
49:43Thanks, Bruce.
49:44Thanks, sir.
49:46Don't put yourself up.
49:48I'm not.
49:49I'm not.
49:50I want to make this man happy.
49:51That's all.
49:52Is he mad at me?
49:54No.
49:55Make me happy.
49:56You'd be happy with yourself.
49:58I am.
49:59Right.
50:00Yeah.
50:01I think I feel way better than I'm supposed to.
50:06But I'm also high on adrenaline right now.
50:08So it's, you know, it's a process.
50:10Once I calm down, I'm sure I'm going to feel all the bumps and bruises.
50:13What's my name?
50:15C.F. Paul!
50:16C.F. Paul!
50:18If you grow up loving wrestling and watching, you want to be that guy.
50:23You want to accomplish the boyhood dream.
50:25You want to be those guys who are picked and put in that position.
50:30And I was tonight.
50:38And that last match gets done.
50:41And you sit back in your chair and you go, man, that was awesome.
50:53The opportunity has never been bigger for talent to create a moment for yourself no matter what we give you.
51:00Congratulations.
51:01Thank you so much to everyone.
51:02Thanks for that.
51:03I really appreciate it.
51:04That was fun.
51:05Yeah.
51:06I wasn't jealous at all.
51:07Not at all.
51:08Not at all.
51:09To make it yours, to own it, there's opportunity right now for everybody on the card.
51:18We're going to allow you to spread your wings.
51:21And if you hit it right, and that connects with people, we're going to run with it.
51:29And you always have the opportunity to get yourself to that next level.
51:33The greatest of all time is here.
51:38And the road to WrestleMania begins.
51:42John Cena has been the ultimate good guy in WWE.
51:46And wouldn't it be great if John Cena turned heel?
51:48The hardest thing is keeping secrets.
51:50And just one big attack.
51:53I'll make this my real job.
51:55I got to quit the rat business.
51:57Oh, my God!
51:58You ate it right on your neck.
51:59Are you okay?
52:00I hate that it just got taken away because I felt like it was just getting started.
52:05But the story is never really over.
52:07When one ends, a whole new one begins.
52:09Isn't that the job?
52:10To make the biggest stars possible?
52:12Hell yeah!
52:13It's all working.
52:14It pushes on you.
52:20It does get to a level where it is decimal points that separates you and makes you stand out.
52:26That's all I ever wanted to do.
52:28I just did it.
52:29I fucking did it.
52:30Side plane!
52:31Side plane!
