00:00Already after first sketches was possible to see that our ENIAC RS Race will be very sporty
00:05and this was a task for our engineering to be as close as possible to our current Fabia RS
00:11Ready 2 concerning handling and interior. And I think we've done it quite well.
00:17The car has reinforced body shell and integrated safety frame
00:21just like in our competition car according to the current FIA regulations.
00:30We have focused carefully on the handling. The basic power tray layout including the battery and the power
00:35is identical to the production car. We have added a hydraulic handbrake, front and rear self-locking
00:41differential and few other competition bits. The goal was also to significantly reduce the weight.
00:48We save a lot on inside components and on unsprung brake and wheel mass.
00:53We also achieved big weight savings by using sustainable flux-based composite materials.
00:59Their production process is similar to that of carbon composite but they are entirely natural based.
01:04That is the key to the ENIAC RS Race project as we are moving towards sustainable motorsport by
01:10developing and testing these materials. We use them on the roof, fenders and sills.
01:17The ENIAC RS Race is a great example how ŠKODA Motorsport is bringing emotions to our RS road models.
01:24I think it will be really fun to drive.
