00:00Long ago, in the heart of the forested hills of Ergutar, there was a village named Nekulu,
00:05known for its peace and silence. The people of Nekulu were hard-working farmers and hunters,
00:11but one rule governed them strictly. Never go into the forest after sunset.
00:16Old tales spoke of strange creatures and spirits who roamed the forest at night.
00:20But most villagers didn't know why. The origin of the rule had faded with time.
00:25One evening, a young boy named Obignir, curious and bold, was returning late from fishing when
00:31he heard a strange voice calling his name from the edge of the forest.
00:35Obignir, the voice whispered again. Obignir froze. No one else was around. His heart pounded.
00:42He should have run, but something pulled him forward, a strange warmth in the cold night breeze.
00:48He stepped into the forest, one foot after another, until he was deep among the trees.
00:52Then, he saw her. A girl, no older than he, with glowing eyes and hair like flowing river water.
00:59She smiled. You finally came, she said. The girl introduced herself as Nayakar.
01:05She told Obignir she had lived in the forest her whole life, alone, waiting for someone brave enough
01:11to find her. I have something to show you, she said. She led him to a hidden spring that sparkled
01:17like stars. This is the water of memory, Nayakar whispered. It holds the truth of the past,
01:23even the truth your village forgot. Obignir drank, and suddenly, he saw, visions rushed through
01:30Obignir's mind. A time when Nikulu was not at peace. There had been a war with the forest people,
01:36beings of magic who once shared the land. A betrayal had occurred. The villagers had taken
01:42the forest's treasures and driven the forest people into hiding. Neckar's people had cursed
01:47the land. Let no child of man enter the forest without cost. Now Obignir understood. The silence
01:54of Nikulu was not peace, it was fear. Obignir staggered back, overwhelmed. Why show me this?
02:01He asked. Because you are different, Nayakar said. You listened, you cared, you can bring peace.
02:07She handed him a seed, glowing softly. Plant this at the center of Nikulu. If your people remember,
02:14the forest will forgive. If they don't, you will not see me again. Obignir nodded, eyes wet with
02:21tears. Obignir returned home just before dawn. The elders scolded him, but he told them everything.
02:28At first, they laughed. But when the earth began to rumble and trees swayed toward the village,
02:33fear returned. The oldest elder, Mamar Ejima, finally stood and confessed,
02:39It is true. We wronged the forest long ago. The villagers gathered as Obignir planted the seed.
02:45As the seed touched the earth, light shot into the sky. Trees blossomed in seconds. Birds returned
02:51with songs unheard for generations. And from the forest came Nayakar, not alone, but with the forest
02:58people. There were tears. There were apologies. The curse was broken. From that day on, Nikulu lived in
03:05true peace. A harmony of man and nature. And Obignir and Nayakar, well, their strange meeting became a
03:12legend, told to every child in Nikulu so no one would forget again.
