Gerusalemme, 28 lug. (askanews) - Il primo ministro israeliano Benjamin Netanyahu, intervenendo alla "Christian Conference" a Gerusalemme, ha dichiarato che Israele non ha una "politica della fame. "Non esiste una politica di fame a Gaza, non c'è fame a Gaza. Permettiamo agli aiuti umanitari di entrare a Gaza per tutta la durata della guerra" ha detto.Secondo il premier israeliano "è Hamas che ruba gli aiuti umanitari e accusa Israele di non fornirli".Netanyahu ha affermato che alcune organizzazioni internazionali avrebbero dichiarato di non poter distribuire gli aiuti a causa dei combattimenti, ma Israele ha comunicato loro che questo non sarebbe un problema nelle zone sicure. Riferendosi alle pause umanitarie nei combattimenti iniziate domenica 27 luglio, Netanyahu ha detto che Israele sta ora "annunciando formalmente" le zone sicure. "Le Nazioni Unite non hanno più scuse. Basta menzogne, distribuite gli aiuti", ha dichiarato.
