Popeye and his rival Bluto find themselves drafted into the army and thrown into basic training together. As expected, the two compete fiercely - whether it’s marching drills, obstacle courses, or impressing Olive Oyl, who happens to be working on the base. Bluto uses every dirty trick to sabotage Popeye, but when things get tough, Popeye reaches for his trusty can of spinach.
