00:00Okay, ladies, to receive the instructions in the dressing room, I expect to clean and
00:09fair-fired, listen at all times to my commands, and protect yourself at all times.
00:13Any questions?
00:14No?
00:15Good luck.
00:16Okay?
00:17We are live in Detroit, Michigan.
00:20Todd Grisham, Sergio Moore, and Claudia Trejo starting at ringside.
00:23Claudia, two French speakers here, so put your French hat on to translate some trash
00:28talk if we're here.
00:29We'll get there, we'll get there.
00:31And we asked during the fighter meetings if there was any rivalry, because, you know,
00:34we always have that local rivalry.
00:36Apparently, they know each other, but they get along.
00:38Well, it's time to not get along.
00:40As we start the bout here, Caroline Baer in the black trunks, Udarsa in the dark green.
00:52It would be a tough fight for color blonde people.
00:55Right?
00:55They look very similar.
00:58Yes!
00:59Yeah, both these ladies have good footwork.
01:01They keep their range nicely.
01:03They fight behind the one-two.
01:04Good technique.
01:05Elbows tucked in.
01:06But when it comes to Boudarsa, she keeps her chin up a little bit high sometimes.
01:09When punching, I think Baer could take advantage.
01:11She starts looping her shots.
01:13Boudarsa is from Lille, France.
01:15Baer is from Paris, France, but has lived in Montreal since 2003.
01:19She relocated there because her mother went to have her cancer treatment, and she fell in love with the city and ended up staying there.
01:29So Caroline Baer representing Canada now.
01:31And there's a level of frustration in Baer because back in 2016, she had the opportunity to participate in the Olympics, but due to a shoulder injury, she fell short.
01:43And then, of course, she had a chance to go to Tokyo, but she was ousted very quickly in the competition.
01:51But you can see the amateur background is right there.
01:54Yeah, no, you can definitely tell that the technique is there in the amateur pedigree because both of them have good technique.
02:01They don't fall off balance when they miss right now like we've seen with Boudarsa.
02:05And nice jabs.
02:06Everything's real accurate with that jab when they're popping it.
02:10And there's a common opponent, and that's one of the boogeymen, Beatriz Ferreira.
02:15We saw her when she did her debut here in the U.S., and we know her amateur pedigree.
02:20One had the opportunity to fight against her in the amateurs, the other one in the pros.
02:25But I think Baer has had a chance to see her grow into the pros and make the necessary adjustments.
02:31And she's making those adjustments based on Ferreira's fight against Boudarsa.
02:37Round one in the books.
02:47Old Anish?
02:48Yep.
02:48And not just with the playground.
02:50With the help of Xero accounting software, I can keep my cash flow flowing.
02:54Woo!
02:55By giving my customers more ways to pay.
02:59Thanks, Ash!
03:00Plus I can see what's coming in and going out.
03:04So I can focus on growing my business.
03:12It's business supercharged!
03:15Search Xero with an X!
03:16Caroline Vare coming off a win over Carmen Vargas.
03:43She's fought on the last Claressa Shields undercard back in February.
03:46Tossed a three-way shutout.
03:4880-72 on all the judges' scorecards.
03:51She was great defensively.
03:53Her opponent never landed more than eight total punches in a round.
03:56It was a beautiful fight.
03:58Technically, she overwhelmed her opponent.
04:00I like that jab by Vare right now.
04:03She's stabbing Boudarsa in the chest.
04:06And right there, right on the chin right there.
04:08She's alternating nicely from the chin, the chest, and now I want to see the belly.
04:12Whenever you're dealing with a taller fighter like that, you want to actually fold them in half to start looping the shots over.
04:17And a good jab to the gut will do that.
04:24See that looping shot?
04:25The best it didn't fall for yet because she has nothing to worry about downstairs.
04:29You start touching them down to the belly.
04:31You know, then you have your opponent thinking of where you're going to punch next.
04:34And you can tell they both fight for points.
04:36Anytime they get these clinches, they both just let their hands go as fast as they can.
04:40Yeah, that's the amateur background of both of them.
04:44You know, it's all the point system.
04:45It's speed.
04:46But in the pro system, you want to actually slow things down.
04:49You want to turn your knuckle.
04:50You want to keep your elbow in.
04:51You actually want to fight slower, believe it or not.
04:55Vare did compete at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
04:58She said she would have done even better at the 2016 Olympics, but had a shoulder injury and was unable to fight.
05:03Nice left hand there from Vare.
05:05Vare better keep her chin down.
05:07She's already getting checked with those left hooks.
05:10That's the thing about Bordessa.
05:11She fights a little bit too tall, doesn't bend her knees, and the height works against her sometimes.
05:17Yeah, she doesn't seem to be able to adjust her height, and that's why she tends to lean forward when she's throwing that jab.
05:22That could be very, very easy to capitalize on that mistake.
05:28Already a lot of redness on the face of Boudessa.
05:31Walks right into her right hand.
05:34Good round for Caroline Vare.
05:36Some talking.
05:41Someone came up on the drive of uma chuva.
05:42I saw the word from somebody in Reism.
05:45We visited our house with her six options.
05:46Take a look at the grace of Son открыth
05:55Просто激 know the ring of heart.
05:57Will Ross say he must support him, see you?
06:29You know, Bear came with a left hook around the guard, and that's the thing about Bordessa.
06:37She needs to keep that chin down, make herself smaller.
06:39But I was just going to tell you, people don't understand how difficult it is to adjust to height.
06:45A lot of people just think, well, you're the taller person in the ring.
06:47You should be able to punch down.
06:49It's not necessarily very comfortable.
06:52Another good left hook for Bear, who's doing better in these exchanges.
06:56There she is.
06:56Bear already found a home for the left hook.
06:58There's that jab I was talking about.
06:59Gutting them in half.
07:00Whenever you gut a taller fighter like that, it's very uncomfortable for them, and they can never come forward with the same comfort.
07:07But that also shows me there's very little respect for Bordessa's punching power.
07:12Because she's willing to munch a couple of punches and just go for the solar plexus.
07:19Bear's doing a good job keeping the range, too.
07:21You don't want to let the taller fighter, you know, establish that jab and keep that distance and that length.
07:27And you cut that off a new one.
07:30Bear has quick feet to shut that distance with that jab.
07:34Oh, nice.
07:42Nice upper body movement there by Bear.
07:43Using the entire ring.
07:45Step back.
07:46Step back.
07:46And with two-minute rounds, you don't have a lot of time to dodge and move like Bordessa's trying to do here.
07:52She's got to get busy.
07:54And Bear's winning, like I said, these exchanges.
08:01Bear's...
08:02Sorry, sorry.
08:05Bear is very aware of the time, and she understands how to close out the rounds and make sure the judges have a full eye of what she's doing.
08:14Bear was adamant that Boudessa has never faced anyone like her.
08:18She said, listen, I know she's had 29 pro fights, but any time she stepped up in competition to face anyone talented, she loses.
08:26And it's not going to be any different when she's in there with me.
08:31Nice.
08:32Counter shot there from Bear, but it was a solid jab from Boudessa.
08:37Yeah, Boudessa's going to have to make it a little bit rough because Bear is really good on her feet using the entire ring.
08:42Coming up next Saturday, it's BKFC.
08:51The vacant welterweight title is on the line as battle-tested brawler Julian Lane goes to war with unbeaten powerhouse Gorjon Slavsky.
08:59He's going to jump on his jab, okay?
09:09He's going to be a little fatigued, he's going to jump on his jab, he's going to be able to do a step back and come back with his right hand.
09:14Okay?
09:15You've practiced it, you've done a super swimming for that.
09:17Soit on your crochet or your right hand.
09:19When you close the distance, we give you an angle right away.
09:22Ba-ba-bop, an angle, and we'll come back.
09:23We welcome you back, Little Caesars Pizza Arena in Detroit, Michigan.
09:48The home of one of the greatest champions of all time, Joe Louis.
09:53It used to be the Joe Louis Arena downtown, where the Detroit Red Wings won all their Stanley Cups.
10:00Where do you rank Joe Louis as far as greatest heavyweights ever?
10:03Sergio Reign for, what, 12 years?
10:05Well, I mean, different generations, but yeah, Joe Louis is definitely, you know, top, has to be top five greatest heavyweights all time.
10:12Small heavyweight, you know, how would he compete in this era of giants of 6'6 plus, 250-pound players?
10:18So, at that era, in that generation, Joe Louis, the Brown Bomber was incredible.
10:24That's the argument, Claudia.
10:25A lot of people are asking where Usyk fits in all this right now.
10:28And you're like, you know, how would these guys do against Usyk now?
10:31How would Usyk do against the greats of yesteryear?
10:33It's always a fun debate.
10:35Multimillion-dollar question right there.
10:37And we forget about the Klitschkos that dominated the division for so long.
10:42Oh, and Budesa stepped inside, got caught with a shot, but landed one of her own.
10:46And she heard you.
10:47That's what I'm talking about.
10:48Budesa needs to get on the inside and actually start mixing it up because the better footwork is with Bear.
10:52I think she uses the ring better.
10:54She has the ring generalship on her side, making it rough if you're Budesa.
10:58Close that division with a jab and let the punches fly.
11:02And I'm just going to pull you away from being so politically correct.
11:06She needs to make it dirty.
11:07She needs to make it, like, very, very aggressive.
11:10Hey, all right.
11:12Yeah.
11:12Normally, Chris Maddox would, you know, admonish me when I say that.
11:16No, no, no, no, no.
11:16But I agree.
11:18Sometimes whenever you're dealing with a polished fighter, you know, you can't out-polish them.
11:22You can't out-box them.
11:23You know, you got to out-fight them.
11:24Find a way to make it rough in there.
11:26Sometimes when you're such a refined dancer like Bear is, you need to make it ugly, uncomfortable, off-timing, so you can throw their timing off.
11:35Agreed.
11:36Good shot there.
11:38Beautiful.
11:38Yeah, better round for Budesa, but Bear, again, landing the heavier shots.
11:43Woo!
11:44Let's go!
11:50Oh, my God!
11:53Beautiful.
11:53Beautiful.
11:54Beautiful.
11:54Beautiful.
11:56Beautiful.
11:58Beautiful.
12:12You can't move your feet up there at your should.
12:17Come at your feet.
12:20Well, it's isn't gorgeous.
12:22You can't touch your feet.
12:22Okay?
12:23Yeah.
12:23It's good?
12:25Nice exchanger
12:29Vera came up short with that right hand
12:31But beautiful
12:32Shot right there with a 2-1 that landed
12:34Missed that 2, landed that solid jab
12:37Right there, love that combination
12:39It throws fighters off guard
12:41Normally you come in with a 1-2 but when you switch it up
12:43With a 2-1 it sets off the timing
12:44Nishibu Dersa having her
12:47Second fight in just 49 days
12:49Coming off a win over Eva Kantos
12:51June the 7th
12:53So she's trying to stay busy
12:55But man, she's in there with a tough one
12:57And Caroline Vare
12:58Yeah, she is
12:59I think Bordessa better not exchange hooks
13:02With Vare
13:03I think she has a more compact hook
13:06And as a taller fighter
13:07You want to control the range with that jab
13:09And that long right hand
13:11And not fight smaller
13:12With a quicker, more explosive fighter
13:14And Vare
13:15See that right there
13:19That's a sharp 1-2-3 combination by Vare
13:21Looks real nice
13:23And then she gets out of the way
13:24Bordessa needs to either stay inside
13:26Or control the distance on the outside with a jab
13:29But she's stuck in the middle right now
13:31And mid-range is definitely not her comfort zone
13:35And I can also really applaud the circular motion by Vare
13:40She's constantly moving
13:42Just trying to stay away from that power punch
13:44From Boudessa
13:46Yeah, you notice that too, Claudia
13:47The fact that she's never right in front of Boudessa
13:51And that's the thing about Boudessa
13:52She keeps her head in the line of fire
13:55She doesn't have any upper body movement
13:57So it's easy for Vare to land pot shots
13:59And single shots
14:00I'll tell you what though
14:01Boudessa's having a lot of fun in there
14:03When she gets hit
14:04She's smiling
14:04She's dancing around
14:05There's a right hand
14:06Sweet one too
14:08From the Little France native
14:10Yeah, see, there's that jab
14:12She needs to get comfortable
14:14Popping that jab
14:14Use her height
14:15Use her range
14:16And jab your way in
14:17Then once you get inside
14:18You gotta rip away at the body
14:19I just think her jab is very uncomfortable
14:23Because she needs a lot of space
14:24It's a jab that comes all the way from behind
14:27So she needs a lot of space
14:28And then Vare does a great job of going in and out
14:31Yeah, better footwear
14:33Slightly quick defeat
14:34So final seconds here of round number five
14:41Time
14:43Already filling out here at the arena
14:56They're expecting over 15,000 fans
14:58Claudia, that is outrageous
15:00Especially when you consider they're all here
15:02To see a female fighter in the main event
15:04Is it really outrageous?
15:06Come on
15:06It's never been done before
15:08But you know what?
15:10We just did it at Madison Square Garden
15:11Just a couple weeks ago
15:13And before that
15:14We've done it
15:15In another arena
15:15We did in Texas
15:16So it's
15:17It's a very, very good reflection
15:21Of where women's sports is sitting right now
15:24In 2025
15:25Because it's not just for boxing
15:26It's basketball
15:27It's softball
15:28It's wrestling
15:30You name it
15:31We're making our mark
15:32Let them know, Claudia
15:33Let them know
15:35It's herstory, right?
15:36Yes, herstory
15:37Oh, please
15:38Really, Sergio?
15:39We're putting you in your place, right?
15:41You have how many girls?
15:43I got three
15:43Exactly
15:44It's herstory tonight
15:45At the Little Caesars Review
15:47So it's Lisa Boudersa
15:51Taking on Caroline Baird
15:53If you're just joining us
15:54Baird believes she should
15:58Get a title shot next
15:59If she can win this one
16:00And she's well on her way
16:01With nice exchanges like that
16:03Good combination there
16:04With a two-time national amateur French champion
16:08Yeah, Baird landing a nice one, two, three
16:10Even looped in
16:10Now she's finding a home for that right hand
16:12Every punch is landing
16:13Because Boudersa does not move her head
16:15She has no upper body movement
16:16And she's real stiff
16:17The number of power punches that Baird lands
16:21I'm surprised she doesn't have a knockout yet
16:23In her nine wins
16:24But I can also say that
16:28Because of her cyclical motion
16:30She's now creating that space
16:32For that right to go in on cue
16:34She does that lateral move
16:37To throw that right
16:38Total punches through five rounds
16:43Boudersa has landed 32 of 220
16:46Much more economical
16:4767 of 193 for Baird
16:50Nice shot there
16:54A one-two on the back foot
16:57Takes a athleticism to do that
17:00There's really, really a swift on the feet
17:05Look at that angle right there
17:05She has really good footwork
17:07You can tell that she has that
17:08That deep amateur background
17:10Because she's real comfortable
17:12Being the ring general in there
17:14And fighting from angles
17:14Just like that
17:15Looks like either a cut or a bloody nose
17:18Beautiful uppercut from Baird
17:21And blood is pouring out of the nose now
17:23Boudersa
17:24Yeah, Boudersa finally got caught
17:26Throwing that lead right uppercut
17:27Which is a no-no
17:28Big no-no in technique flaw
17:30You don't lead without a total fighter
17:32And a nice left
17:35To polish off that combination
17:37There's another one from Baird
17:39Who's really shining here in round six
17:41And not standing in front of Boudersa
17:43Always angles
17:44Gets her combinations
17:45Gets out of the way
17:46This is boxing right here
17:48Oh, she's going to be in
17:51Beautiful round
17:52Of Caroline Burrell
17:53Yes
17:53Nice left hand right there
18:23Just threw away that left hook
18:24To land that right hand
18:25But no right hand came behind it
18:27Because that left hand landed so nicely
18:29Doubled it up
18:30Jumping in with a hook
18:33That takes that athleticism
18:34Like I was talking about
18:35Good fast feet
18:36On the part of Baird
18:37And there's that right hand
18:38Chopping down
18:39On Boudersa
18:40The nose is bloodied up
18:41Big round here
18:43Not staying in front
18:44Landing clean shot
18:46It's Caroline Burrell
18:48What a round
18:49And the awareness
18:50And the awareness
18:50She knew
18:51We had called it
18:52Boudersa has that tendency
18:54Of just leaning forward
18:55Just a little too much
18:56And you mentioned the chin
18:57It was a clear opportunity
18:59And Baird took advantage of it
19:01Boudersa's corner
19:02Really letting her have it
19:03In between rounds
19:05They were trying to motivate her
19:06Getting very emotional
19:07And Sergio
19:09I don't think it's a lack of effort
19:10No it's not a lack of effort
19:12It's a lack of
19:12The fact that she doesn't have
19:14Upper body movements
19:15And she leaves her head
19:16In the line of fire
19:17So she's not going to fix that
19:18Overnight
19:19Those are things that you need
19:20To fix in the gym
19:21So Boudersa's having a hard time
19:23Because she doesn't move her upper body
19:25And keep that chin down
19:26Wouldn't we describe this also
19:28As a typical flat footed fighter
19:29Or brawler
19:30Versus a very refined boxer
19:32I would say a refined boxer
19:34I wouldn't call Boudersa
19:36A brawler
19:37I just think she
19:37But she's flat footed
19:38She's flat footed
19:39She's stiff
19:40But once she's
19:42Once she's on the inside
19:43She's brawling away
19:44You know
19:45She's still trying to
19:45Fire behind a jab
19:46Set up that right hand
19:47But
19:48The speed is on their part
19:50And the ref
19:52Is
19:53This is the second time
19:54That calls over her
19:55Yeah
19:55Good body shot
20:00That's what I wanted
20:01To see more of
20:02Stabbing
20:05Boudersa
20:06With that jab down there
20:07Hooking around the guard
20:09Keeping those elbows tucked in
20:11And those punches
20:12Good shot
20:15See there you go
20:16Beautiful combination
20:17But they're getting an angle
20:19And that is very Lomachenko-esque
20:21Her favorite fighter
20:23Vare
20:23Is looking fantastic here
20:25In the seventh
20:26I'm telling you Sergio
20:27As they go crash
20:29There you go
20:30There you go
20:30Clara
20:30You wanted dirty tactics
20:32I told you
20:32You got dirty tactics
20:33That's what you got
20:34It's not what I wanted
20:35You're taking away the leg
20:36Trying to take away the legs
20:37Of Vare
20:38By putting your
20:39Your weight on her
20:40We see that often
20:42Especially in the heavyweights
20:43I didn't think
20:44Boudersa would have it in her
20:45To get to that low
20:47Because that's really
20:48A low
20:48Low move right there
20:50Look at this
20:51Power boxing on the side of Vare
20:54The crowd's starting to come alive
20:59For this one
21:00I won't die
21:01I won't die
21:01I won't die
21:01I won't die
21:01I won't die
21:02I won't die
21:03I won't die
21:04I won't die
21:04I won't die
21:05I won't die
21:06I won't die
21:07Oh Raph
21:08Raph
21:08Raph
21:09Raph
21:09Come on man
21:10She keep holding
21:11She's throwing him on the floor
21:12She's holding him
21:16Yeah, yeah
21:18I'm holding that
21:19I wanna see me
21:20Yeah, but tell her on the other side
21:23You've been warning her ten times
21:24Really?
21:26Thank you
21:26She's got to step away
21:28The end
21:28Okay
21:28She's got to step away
21:29nice right there see that right hand downstairs that kept the elbows tucked in and that's what
21:39i'm talking about about bear she dissects her opponents right in half and it keeps it keeps
21:44a fighter like bordessa from unleashing then when she does throw a left hook she's actually
21:49open for a counter shot by bear there's just beautiful power boxing
21:53there looks like she's trying to get her first professional knockout she's got three rounds to
22:01do it but buderza has taken a beating especially in the last two rounds yes she has because she's
22:07not moving her upper body that's the thing she's a stationary target even the jabs like that are
22:11landing flush if bear could start stabbing her downstairs to the body even with right hand it's
22:19going to open up the shots up top bear does have one single loss it was a 10 round yamis decision
22:25to yoona shivara lopez that was for the wba gold featherweight title
22:32now the dessa fighting with her hands down which is a no-no because she's a slower fighter
22:44let's look at the body shots landed jabs to the body 9 22 power shots to the body for bear
22:58not a lot of success for who daresa but not for a lack of trying she's just been outclassed and out
23:04gone here tonight i love that move right there i mean she she got off the ropes and she didn't go to
23:08the middle of the ring she kept uh budessa against the ropes just stayed close to her pressure
23:13and she just put her against the ropes and landed a clean combination that's ring general
23:17shit just beautiful boxing man i love what i'm watching here with caroline bear and i think
23:21budessa is falling into urgent mode as a matter of fact i just spoke with the coroner for bear
23:26and they made a formal complaint because they seem they think budessa is just getting a little too dirty
23:31and how many how many warnings is she going to get they're asking for a point deduction for using
23:36her body weight on top of there hey step back step back hey hey boy it looked like her mouthpiece was
23:43coming out or she was trying to bite her shoulder there i'm not sure what budessa was doing i'm
23:47telling you she's she's in that mode in that urgent mode just ate a jab
24:00and then you see budessa were chin up and that's what's costing her
24:17see she's not moving her upper body her head is in the line of fire by this time they're already got
24:35the uh the timing down she already got the distance down she has the faster feet so it's the bear show
24:39so far round by round she's getting more comfortable in those shots and bigger shots
24:51so four minutes left to go here from the motor city you should be daresa has to find something
25:04different to do here if she was to change the outcome of this bout because it's been all caroling
25:09there should have been a nice right hand right now to start things off but back comes there with a
25:13overhand right to answer you're holding okay last time
25:18all fighters getting warned for holding
25:24yeah i'm just wondering how many warnings does it take for somebody to finally
25:28you know get a deduction right no body shots from budessa this entire fight i haven't really
25:34seen no body shots good left there from there
25:48i'm gonna try to push the pace and try and make bear uncomfortable and she certainly made her
25:55uncomfortable at times yeah but she's head hunting too much i mean she she forgot about the jab she's
26:01keeping her head in the same place she had she needs to make herself small and then when she gets on the
26:07inside dig away at the body
26:13nice right hand a pot shot there for bear whose output has slowed down a little bit cut on the left eye of
26:18budessa now oh that's bad too
26:25i'm telling you this is exactly what the corner was asking for that's a nasty cut on the
26:32left eyebrow oh it's swollen up as well nasty swelling that's a target now for bear who just teed off on it
26:40but budessa is showing you her warrior spirit not even blinking
26:47still coming forward trying to win see that right hand that there throughout the body that's
26:51because she's going to set up the overhand right right now i love that setup right now
26:57oh that cut is getting worse and worse by the second yeah she may not be able to come out
27:01for the 10th round it looks nasty and it's beating profusely oh yeah they're gonna stop this fight
27:15that wasn't caused by a punch or a headbutt that's the question
27:24whenever you have swelling like that it's either an elbow or a headbutt that doesn't look like a punch
27:30with that swelling
27:49okay
28:00It's the swelling around the cup that's really making it nasty
28:12The the ref says this it's not bad at all
28:16The coach keeps telling him to bring the doc the doc was right behind them
28:21The million dollar question can you continue yes
28:25There was a language barrier that the trainer kept telling the referee
28:29I don't understand you. He only speaks French who dare so only speaks French
28:33They should have gotten there over there to help translate
28:40But then again a bell ringing doesn't need translating does it Sergio it's time to fight and
28:45Pain is universal love is easy to see so yeah, I mean it's a bad cut, but they did a good job stopping the bleeding
28:52It's that swung that concerns me a little bit more and that usually comes from the head
28:56But
28:58Did the ref even make a comment I didn't hear him make a comment about the head, but
29:06See everything landing for
29:08Caroline there now because the lack of upper body movement for that said refuses to move her head out of the line of fire
29:14And that's why everything lands as well please I
29:20I just think she's not used to that I I just think she's just used to
29:25railroading people over and
29:27Bear is obviously not the same quality of fighting
29:30Well, they're both going to be feeling injuries tomorrow
29:36Punches takedowns headlocks headbutts
29:40There's a good right hand with the tear side in fair answers back
29:43That's the best shot of who death a straight right hand
29:47bear took that
29:49Easily
29:52She has absolutely no respect for but there says punching power, but we realized that from the second round on
29:58Well, you guys wanted it to get dirty in there and man the second half of this fight looks like it's been in a pig pig
30:03I said rough I said that for time
30:06What fruit and we didn't want to we just said that's what it had to be
30:12Done
30:14The war is over and there's a got the worst of it, but you don't need me to tell that to you. Just look at the screen
30:25So there who be a boxing at eight to get in shape and defend herself
30:30Is now doing much more than that as she looks like she's well on her way to her 10th throw win
30:36I really like what I saw
30:38Caroline there I mean using the entire ring hot shot and using angles, you know stabbing her downstairs to the body coming upstairs in combination
30:47Really really all-around
30:49Really good performance play
30:52I'm not surprised at all because we saw a lot of this against Carmen Vargas back in February
30:57She's just getting sharper and a lot more aggressive
31:00She's willing to take more risks and that's what I saw tonight
31:03Most valuable promotions returns to the zone as Puerto Rican contender Yanquiel Rivera set space Venezuela's Angelio Portova as the pair of unbeaten flyweights by for an interim
31:15WBA title the August 23rd card from the Caribe Royale in Orlando, Florida
31:23Always love going to the Caribe Royale
31:26You got sick last time you went right? I did food poisoning. It was a bad taco
31:30With it was a full point is poisoning or just sunburn because he was burnt to the bone you look like a dream
31:37Well, I was eating a shrimp taco. There you go
31:40No camera roll. Hey, oh, I come out on to bear did not look well against
31:47The king himself Shakur. Yeah, I'll just fun fight this one. That's so fun
31:53I was one-sided one-sided, but
31:56Carolee bear now advances to what she believes will be a world title shot at some felt somewhere
32:05And it's hard to deny that she wouldn't be competitive against anybody now wait when this is this was a great performance
32:10That actually should bring work to her
32:13championship
32:16And she looks fresh
32:19All right, let's go back into the ring and the man who's nicknamed mr. Throwdown has scores
32:25Ladies and gentlemen, please put a big round of applause together for both of the fighters inside the ring
32:33After 10 rounds of championship boxing, we read the judges scorecards
32:39Judge Santino scores the matchup 99 to 91
32:44Judge Smith scores it 98 to 92 and
32:47And judge white scores the matchup 99 to 91 for your winner by unanimous decision and new
32:56wbc silver featherweight champion
32:58There's no surprise there caroline bear looks like she could go another 10 rounds to know she looked good
33:11She looks sharp moving around the ring using angles body shots looping her shots in and out
33:17I mean, this is a really really
33:19Pretty performance. I enjoyed watching the entire entire distance of this fight
33:24She did everything you need from a boxer and she dealt with a bully
33:27That's what who dares to became in the second half of that fight handled it. Well cruised to a unanimous decision win
33:38Let's take a look back at some of the highlights
33:39Sergio's competitive early on but then bear just started to pull away
33:43Yeah, because the the technique the bad technique on the side of budessa caught up to her the fact that she kept her head in the same place
33:49She refused to move her head to the line of fire and that's the reason a fighter like Vera was able to capitalize because she wasn't moving her head
33:56Then finally the timing and the accuracy going downstairs to the body the angle right there that's that's beautiful boxing right there
34:04Anytime you see that going up going down
34:07I love watching this and this is what i'm talking about with women's boxing it just continues to evolve
34:13Better and better these women are fighting greater and greater just excellent performance and well executed by caroline bear
34:20I have to agree a hundred percent plus. I also like her displacement across the ring
