00:00New military clashes have erupted between Cambodia and Thailand in border areas.
00:05At least a dozen people have been killed and 70 injured.
00:09The Ministry of Defense reported that five Cambodian soldiers were killed
00:12and another 21 were injured in the northwest of the country on Saturday.
00:16In view of the escalation of violence, the national government filed a lawsuit
00:19in the International Code of Justice with the aim of reaching a peaceful solution
00:24and guaranteeing peace in the region.
00:26According to international organizations, the Cambodian-Thailand conflict
00:29is one of the most violent in Southeast Asia.
00:36And with the advance of the armed conflict between the two countries,
00:39more than 138,000 displaced people are reported in border regions of Thailand
00:43and more than 35,000 in Cambodia.
00:46According to the Thai Ministry of Health, more than 58,000 people have fled
