West Arcatica to Ladonia: Do these micronations even exist?

He called himself an ambassador to Ladonia, West Arcatica, Seborga, and Poulo Wai — but none of these “countries” are recognised by the UN.

00:19who exploited a loophole in the Antarctic Treaty and declared himself Grand Duke.

00:23He claimed 620,000 square miles near the South Pole,

00:26arguing no one else had.

00:28He was later dismissed from service.

00:30No one lives there, though its website lists honorary consuls worldwide,

00:33including two in India.

00:36Ladonia claims it is an area of one square kilometer on the beach in southern Sweden,

00:40established by an artist in 1996.

00:42According to its website,

00:43Ladonia has over 30,102 registered nomadic citizens.

00:47The micronation's constitution mandates a tri-annually elected president and a queen.

00:52Serborga is a small tourist village in northwestern Italy near the French border.

00:56Serborga's website lists three representatives in India.
