which includes sports and disciplines not typically included in the Olympics.
00:12
Before they head out, they're getting a flag presentation ceremony in their honor.
00:16
This year, a total of 119 athletes will be competing in sports,
00:30
including tagawa, wushu, fin swimming and jiu-jitsu.
00:33
President Lai attended the ceremony to wish the athletes luck.

of the Women's Tag Award team at the Games.

With high hopes from Lai, the athletes are more determined than ever
01:25
to claim their next goal, putting in extra effort during training.
01:34
This year, as usual, the athletes will be competing under the name Chinese Taipei,
01:49
which follows the Olympic protocol.
01:51
However, there are worries that media in China may refer to Taiwan's team as Taipei China.
