Davao City first district Rep. Paolo Duterte has advised Philippine National Police chief Gen. Nicolas Torre III to first sign a waiver before pushing through with his proposed charity boxing match against acting Davao City Mayor Sebastian Duterte to absolve his younger brother of any legal liability should anything happen to either of them.

The lawmaker emphasized that public officials, especially those holding high office, must act with accountability—even inside the boxing ring. He also responded to what appears to be a call for hair follicle drug testing for all elected officials, stating he is willing to comply even if he gets bald. 📸 Ivy Tejano | MB
