00:00OK, so 10 things you love about each other.
00:03Theo, you first.
00:04The shape of her head is somewhat pleasing at a distance.
00:09She smells pleasant on occasion.
00:11The Roses is a cautionary tale about romance.
00:15A loser, a wanker.
00:16Number 10, Theo, what a .
00:21That's actually quite funny.
00:22Theo, Rose, falls quickly, lustfully in love with Ivy.
00:28There was love at the beginning, at least.
00:30And it's still there, but it's really being stretched thin.
00:33Theo is an architect, and he has a disaster with a building,
00:37and it collapses along with his ego.
00:40It's not going to fall.
00:40I think it might.
00:42No, stop filming, guys.
00:43So they swap roles.
00:44He looks after the kids.
00:46And Ivy ends up taking over the breadwinner role.
00:50Then she starts to love it.
00:51How was your day?
00:52The neighbor's dog shat in the laundry.
00:54The kids have got knits together.
00:55My left eye's twitching.
00:56More champagne for me, please.
00:58I sense trouble.
00:59I don't think you have the capacity to fix your problems.
01:02Are you actually allowed to say that?
01:05I read the script, and I was like, this is fantastic.
01:08Tony McNamara, who wrote this script,
01:10is kind of reimagining the original film,
01:12The War of the Roses.
01:14No one writes bad behavior like Tony McNamara.
01:16This is the easy bit.
01:17Smother me with a pillow.
01:18Is it?
01:20Said a little too quickly, if mine like it.
01:22It's grounded, and it's satirical.
01:24At the same time, it's that beautiful, dry British wit
01:29that only Olivia Colman and Benedict Cumberbatch could pull off.
01:33Everybody seems to think we hate each other.
01:35I suppose sometimes I do hate you.
01:37Ah, sporadic hatred.
01:39Olivia Colman, National Treasure.
01:40Put that aside.
01:42She's just a lot of fun to work with.
01:44She's just very, hello, hello.
01:45Benedict was an amazing dance partner.
01:47He always does everything better, though.
01:49He always says everything better.
01:50I'm going to leave some long pauses in the conversation
01:53for you to insert an apology.
01:55I'm so sorry.
01:56My deepest regrets are.
01:58Banter was a whole other level,
02:00and it was a dream supporting cast.
02:03You guys are so cute.
02:05Like a sack of kittens.
02:07Near a rushing river.
02:09I don't get that.
02:12Some people side a little more with Ivy,
02:14and some people actually side with Theo,
02:17and they sometimes change during the course of the film,
02:19and then all you can do is just root for them to figure it out.
02:21It's fun behaving badly.
02:24It really is.
02:24Things are getting a little out of hand.
