00:09:05I'm from Brazil
00:09:09Is there anything that you want the people to know about you?
00:09:13I would like them to know my magic
00:09:15Very mysterious
00:09:17And how long you've been a magician?
00:09:19Since I'm six years old
00:09:20Since I'm six years old

00:09:45These love letters
00:09:47I don't know
00:09:49With your feet in the air and your head on the ground
00:09:59Try this trick and spin, yeah
00:10:09Your head will collapse, but there's nothing in it
00:10:18And you'll ask your song
00:10:22Where is my mind?
00:10:28Where is my mind?
00:10:40Are they cards?
00:10:41Yes
00:10:43What's the story?
00:10:44I don't know
00:10:48Yes
00:10:50No
00:10:54Oh, my God.
00:11:24Oh, my God.
00:11:54Oh, my God.
00:12:23Oh, my God.
00:12:53Oh, my God.
00:13:01That was...
00:13:03Wow.
00:13:07Alain, you can tell that you've been doing this since you were a little baby.
00:13:11I mean, there's something about you.
00:13:13It's like something mystical, something sexy.
00:13:16It was great.
00:13:17That's good.
00:13:18I loved it.
00:13:20I loved it.
00:13:22The only complaint I have is with the woman sitting next to me who was, uh, the whole time...
00:13:29Confused.
00:13:29And the fact that I still enjoyed it with all those questions makes it even better.
00:13:37Because I was trying to find the story, I just got confused.
00:13:43Was it on fire?
00:13:44Did you want to get the woman back?
00:13:50Well, um, you know what?
00:13:55It is important sometimes to look at an act like this as if you're a three-year-old.
00:14:00Uh, which Mel did.
00:14:02As an adult, I thought it was what a magician should be.
00:14:08What's very mysterious.
00:14:09We're gonna vote.
00:14:11Howie.
00:14:12Yes.
00:14:15Mel.
00:14:16No, no.
00:14:20I'm gonna give you a yes.
00:14:22Okay.
00:14:23You only did three.
00:14:24You got three yeses.
00:14:32Every time.
00:14:33I don't know what Mel will see it.
00:14:48How do you feel about her coming?
00:14:50Make me want to try better the next time and maybe tell a story and maybe Mel and I and
00:14:56everybody can universally understand.
00:14:57It's always fun as well.
00:14:59I didn't know what was going on.
00:15:01It was confusing to me.
00:15:03I didn't know what was going on.
00:15:11This audience is the most hyped up audience I think we have.
00:15:15All right.
00:15:17We're gonna get ready for our next act, ladies and gentlemen.
00:15:21There you go.
00:15:27Hello.

00:15:31Andrea.

00:17:25That's what I want to do
00:17:26I know
00:17:27Wow, I mean, they're in there

00:17:55Okay
00:17:56For the record, get into position
00:17:58She breaks that
00:17:59That would be big
00:18:01Three
00:18:03Two
00:18:04One
00:18:05Go
00:18:10She's got to do that flip right now
00:18:11Oh, wow
00:18:15Oh, she's dropped something
00:18:16Oh, her earring, her earring
00:18:22What, she's gonna put her earring back on?

00:18:35What's your name?
00:18:36We are over from Tokyo
00:18:38What do you think? Do you think she's got this?
00:18:39I think she does
00:18:40Look at this
00:18:41She's gonna groove
00:18:42This is how you gotta do it
00:18:43Do what you do right there on that star
00:18:44Go do it
00:18:45Good luck
00:18:46Hey
00:18:47Well I love

00:21:16Say yes from me. I keep forgetting that she's back there. How long has it been?
00:21:22Andrea is just coming up on 20 minutes. So she's got about 40 minutes left to break her record
00:21:27She's in a squat for an hour and she's moving up and down constantly. That's insane
00:21:32This is a mental game. She is in the zone and she is exactly where she needs to be. We'll see where she ends up
00:21:38I see a fight in those demons inside. I will wait for you. I will wait for you
00:21:55Oh
00:21:57Hi, baby
00:21:59See you walking down the road, but you don't have to walk alone
00:22:07I live in a little town called Middlesboro, Kentucky
00:22:10There's about 15,000 people live here in the Appalachian Mountains
00:22:15Library down there
00:22:17There's a lot of hard workers that don't really make a whole lot but are proud of what they do
00:22:27I'm a trucker. I deliver trailers
00:22:31Hours are rough. You'll be out here 14 on the clock
00:22:36But it gives you a lot of time to think about what's important to you
00:22:41And my family is the most important thing in the world to me
00:22:45And I want to make sure they got what they need
00:22:48And sometimes I can give them what they want
00:22:51I'd much rather be spending a lot more time with them
00:22:56Music's always been a part of my life
00:22:59About three and a half years ago
00:23:01I decided to start a band
00:23:03People started really liking it
00:23:05I said, well, maybe I can do something with it
00:23:07That's the whole reason I'm here at AGT
00:23:15It's gone good
00:23:16It's gone good
00:23:17It really has
00:23:19AGT, it's a long way from home
00:23:24Two or three days ago, I was driving to deliver a trailer
00:23:29And now I flew Plumcrofts to the country to do this
00:23:32You can tell that you've been doing this since you were a little baby
00:23:35This is a once in a lifetime shot
00:23:37I've got to take this chance
00:23:39I have to
00:23:40You guys are taking stage right now, so call me, yeah
00:23:43Because if I don't, I'll think about it for the rest of my life

01:05:47I mean first of all congratulations on breaking your own record. Thanks so much, but
01:05:56I'm sorry Andrea. That's just
01:06:03Well, if you'd have asked me what we were going to see as a world record this year
01:06:09I would not have guessed that and certainly wouldn't have guessed what you were going to do if you got through to the finals
01:06:17So I just have to say yes
01:06:32Altadena, California. We like thousands of other families lost our home with the fire
01:06:37We don't really have a whole lot right now, but we escaped with our lives and we're so grateful to be here
01:06:42Hearts go out to you. Best of luck
01:06:47How are you were you with backstage a lot of time, weren't you?
01:06:58My name is you with King. I'm a comedian. I work in the family business
01:07:04Living Charlotte, North Carolina with my wife and children two girls. They're so smart and beautiful. I love being a father

01:07:21To come on the 20th season just means everything can we take a look at Terry's mic, please
01:07:27There you go. It's all time
01:07:41Hi, how are you buddy? I'm good. So I was you know when we come out on stage we all come through the back and I meet people and I didn't know
01:07:48uh what you do and you were incredibly funny and I was just trying to be I was just trying to be
01:07:57Inspirational and I said you've got to realize what Simon always says to people. What do you always say two minutes could change your life?
01:08:02Yes, and you said and I told him I said I know cuz two minutes is how I got my kids
01:08:08Haha
01:08:12That's funny
01:08:14That's funny
01:08:16Go ahead young. Man
01:08:18Ladies and gentlemen. That's right. I'm a comedian and I'm also a licensed funeral director and embalmer
01:08:25so
01:08:27Thank you so with that being said if anybody in here starts choking
01:08:32Go on and let God have his way now
01:08:35So I can leave here with a chick
01:08:38People don't believe me when I say that I'm a funeral director.
01:08:43They don't believe me.
01:08:44And I know why.
01:08:45It's because I act normal.
01:08:47Like, I don't act like an undertaker.
01:08:49You know how, like, more and more politicians act like they dead, too?
01:08:53You know what I mean?
01:08:54You know what I'm talking about?
01:08:55I got them cold hands and be talking all slow and weary.
01:08:59How are you feeling today?
01:09:03They only want to talk about the people they think getting ready to die.
01:09:07How is your grandmother doing?
01:09:10And that's when you get mad.
01:09:12If my grandmama find Dracula, get away from me.
01:09:15My grandmama ran two miles this morning.
01:09:17She doing good.
01:09:21And y'all love to ask me crazy questions when y'all find out that I'm a funeral director.
01:09:25This is the number one crazy question.
01:09:27Y'all, yeah.
01:09:28Hey, man.
01:09:29Let me ask you something.
01:09:31Has a dead person ever sat up and tried to grab you?
01:09:35Yeah, yeah, yeah.
01:09:36And I'm glad I'm on national TV so I can make this clear.
01:09:39If I go and get a dead body and for any reason they move, let alone grab me, that's my last day at work.
01:09:51The crazy thing is that one time I actually thought a dead person grabbed me.
01:09:59And we got a call that they said a dead person died, okay?
01:10:03So quite naturally, we go to pick up the body.
01:10:05We get the man on the stretcher.
01:10:07We get to the back of the hearse.
01:10:09I open the hearse door to put the dead man in the back of the hearse.
01:10:12And somehow, some kind of way, I didn't see it, but the dead man's hand fell to the side.
01:10:20But I didn't see it because I got my back turned to me.
01:10:24I didn't see it, okay?
01:10:25And the hand messed around and wrapped around the back of my leg.
01:10:29All I could do is, ah!
01:10:32Ah!
01:10:33Ah!
01:10:34Let me tell you something.
01:10:37You don't know embarrassment until you've had the look of family in the face and say,
01:10:45I'm sorry for peeing on your daddy.
01:10:50And that'll be $10,000.
01:10:53Thank you, AGT.
01:10:54Appreciate it.
01:10:55Yeah!
01:11:02You are wonderful.
01:11:04You know what?
01:11:05We say this in comedy.
01:11:06You killed.
01:11:07And that's good for you, right?
01:11:08In your business.
01:11:10Yeah.
01:11:11Simon, you stood up.
01:11:12This is brilliant.
01:11:14I mean, seriously brilliant.
01:11:16You're like a funny funeral director.
01:11:19I mean, that is fantastic.
01:11:22And you're right.
01:11:23They're so serious and they all want you to die like you said.
01:11:28Simon got it.
01:11:29He got it.
01:11:30You are a natural.
01:11:31I mean, seriously.
01:11:35Sophia.
01:11:36I mean, you are amazing.
01:11:38I mean, the moment you walk on the stage, you were funny.
01:11:41You look great.
01:11:42Your energy is amazing.
01:11:43He was funny.
01:11:45Mel, what do you think?
01:11:46Yeah.
01:11:47Well, you made me belly laugh and I love a good belly laugh.
01:11:50You got me.
01:11:51You're a character.
01:11:52I wanted to hear more and more and more.
01:11:54You're very funny.
01:11:56I, as a comedian, would like to give you your first yes.
01:11:58You're amazing.
01:11:59Mel.
01:12:00Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes.
01:12:01Three yeses.
01:12:02Three yeses.
01:12:03Three yeses.
01:12:04Without question, the funniest person we've had this year.
01:12:09Four yeses.
01:12:13It's brilliant.
01:12:14Isn't that great?
01:12:15Oh, my God.
01:12:29That is brilliant.
01:12:31Isn't that great?
01:12:32It's real life.
01:12:32It's his life.
01:12:34He's hanging on a dead man.
01:12:45Give it up for our last act, everybody.
01:12:49Music has been a healing factor for all of us.
01:12:52It's something that unifies us.
01:12:57Are you family members?
01:12:58We are.
01:12:59Okay.
01:12:59How are you really?
01:13:00This is mom.
01:13:02It's been great to grow up with parents that really encouraged music.
01:13:06Our dad's here supporting us.
01:13:09He encouraged us to go for our dreams, and he loves when we sing.
01:13:12We are here to share our voices and our hearts with America.
01:13:23Okay, here we go.
01:13:29We don't have much, but we have this.
01:13:31Exactly.
01:13:35Look at the fam out there.
01:13:40Hello.
01:13:41Hi.
01:13:42How are you?
01:13:42Pretty good.
01:13:43Who are you?
01:13:45We are the Ben family.
01:13:46Are you all siblings?
01:13:49Tell me about who you are.
01:13:50We're a big, big, big family.
01:13:51It's five of us up here, but there's seven siblings, our two parents, and my sisters have
01:13:56some little ones out there.
01:13:57That's my family.
01:13:59Where are you from?
01:14:01Altadena, California.
01:14:02Oh, okay.
01:14:03We're just a few miles up the road, and we, like thousands of other families, lost our home
01:14:09in January.
01:14:10Oh, with the fire.
01:14:12Oh, the Altadena fire took our city and all of our homes.
01:14:18I'm sorry.
01:14:19Yeah.
01:14:19Altadena, California was a beautiful town just up the street from this building.
01:14:27That day, seeing fires right outside my own home, I just panicked and got right into survival
01:14:37mode.
01:14:37I didn't know that a few hours later, the whole city would be gone.
01:14:47We come from a very big and beautiful family, a lineage of people that live in Altadena,
01:14:52and our legacy was the homes that we owned and that beautiful community.
01:14:57The loss of that is something that we're having a hard time getting over.
01:15:02It wasn't just our home.
01:15:03It was our friends, our relatives, our neighbors.
01:15:07But we have something to say bigger now than we've ever had.
01:15:12I feel like our time and our city's time.
01:15:16You know, displacement is a weird feeling.
01:15:19You wake up each day and you remember the things you have to get and do and realize they're
01:15:24not there.
01:15:24Life is very different now.
01:15:28We don't really have a whole lot right now, and we're working on getting it back.
01:15:33But more importantly, we escaped with our lives, and we're so grateful to be here.
01:15:39Yes.
01:15:42I cannot even imagine what it feels like to go through the loss that you are going through.
01:15:47And then to have the strength to show up here today, what do you hope to get?
01:15:54Out of what you're going to do today.
01:15:57We love our city, and we love the people in our city.
01:16:01We loved our neighborhood.
01:16:03And this is a salute to Altadena.
01:16:07And this is our love song to you.
01:16:09Well, you know what?
01:16:23Our hearts go out to you.
01:16:25And I wish you the best of luck.
01:16:29You are not hidden.
01:16:56It's never been a moment you were forgotten, you are not hopeless, though you've been broken, your innocence stolen.
01:17:14I hear you whisper underneath your breath.
01:17:23I hear your SOS, your SOS.
01:17:33I will send out an army to find you in the middle of the darkest night, it's true, I will rescue you.
01:17:52I hear you whisper, you have nothing left.
01:18:02I will send out an army to find you in the middle of the darkest night, it's true, I will rescue you.
01:18:20I will never start to reach you in the middle of the darkest night, it's true, I will rescue you.
01:18:42It's true, I will rescue you.
01:18:52It's true, I will rescue you.
01:19:02It's true, I will rescue you.
01:19:12The choice of song, the emotion that it was delivered in is one of the most beautiful, heartfelt, incredibly emotional messages I think we've heard on this season.
01:19:30Thank you Howie.
01:19:32I think that was a very brave and important thing you just did.
01:19:40Very, very emotional hearing that lyric of the song and all the memories that go with that fire.
01:19:45I was back in the UK that all the news was about whether a stupid celebrity had lost their home or not, who cares.
01:19:52The important thing actually was the regular people with regular jobs, who lost their homes and their businesses and all that, you know.
01:20:00And you know, this story has to keep being talked about.
01:20:06And I'm really sorry for what you went through, I'm really happy on the other hand that you've come here to share your message with us.
01:20:12You did a great job.
01:20:18I thought the song was perfect, the voices were amazing, I cannot even understand what you guys went through.
01:20:25And I'm sure mentally you guys are still in a weird place, but you still had the energy, the strength to come here and fight.
01:20:34To be here tonight, I mean, that's amazing. Amazing. Thank you for coming. Thank you.
