00:00Resolved in terms of a guarantee that there won't be clawbacks and cancellations and decisions
00:08that betray the agreements we're reaching right now.
00:12We can't reach agreements when Trump simply overrides them later on a strictly partisan
00:19basis.
00:20There's no trust, there's no way we can rely on Republicans' words if they're going to
00:27simply be puppets for Donald Trump when he decides he's going to do something different.
00:33Sir, Senator Sanders and Senator Mark here are holding a town hall tomorrow with Randy
00:38Weingarten, president of the American Federation of Teachers.
00:41She's obviously controversial in some circles, particularly for her style.
00:46Do you think that's a productive thing and what message do you think Democrats should
00:49be carrying forward to the midterms with regard to education and teachers?
00:54We ought to be holding town hall, and Randy Weingarten is a well-respected union leader,
01:01and we should be listening to American labor as well as everyone else.
01:06Donald Trump isn't listening to any of them.
01:09And the problem right now is no one is talking about affordability, the increasing cost of
01:15living for everyday Americans, which is being heightened by Donald Trump's tariffs, the
01:22increase in the national debt, and the decimation of healthcare for Americans, which is going
01:28to raise premiums.
01:29So Americans can't afford the prices that are being raised astronomically standing with working
01:34families and people is what Democrats should be doing.
01:44Thank you for having me.
01:47We're all looking for more questions from the National Anthem of Georgia and the National Anthem of
01:48Georgia.
01:49Yes.
01:50Yes.
01:51Yes.
01:52Of course we're moving.
