Chad Holland, Senior Pastor and CEO of the messianic King of Kings Community in Jerusalem (KKCJ), uses the murder of Israeli embassy staffers in Washington, Yaron Lischinsky and Sarah Milgrim, as a platform to confirm their messianic beliefs and promote the spreading of the gospel.
00:00I want to make sure I clarify and set the record straight.
00:03We appreciate so often, thank you, Neri, our dear friends from around the world like the ICEJ and Juergen Buehler.
00:14And we appreciate Bridges for Peace and CBN News and Chris Mitchell, Jonathan Goff and others, Julie and others.
00:21We appreciate TBN, All Israel News, Christianity Today and everyone else who wrote stories.
00:30But friends, they wrote stories about us.
00:34Yeron grew up here.
00:36He grew up here in Israel.
00:38He's an Israeli.
00:39He served in the IDF for three years.
00:41His family, his father Daniel and the rest of his family still are members at one of our King of Kings congregations.
00:49The funeral is happening right now.
00:52It just started.
00:53And one of our King of Kings pastors is there hosting in Beit Zayt, the funeral right now.
01:02This is not a them story.
01:04This is an us story.
01:05This is a King of Kings member.
01:09He was well known in a lot of our King of Kings family circles, not only at the Uval School of Music.
01:15And I talked to a lot of their leaders and they grew up with him.
01:18But just a few years back, he went to one of our small groups here.
01:25He went to our young adult small group when Dustin and Susan Pratt were leading.
01:30This is an us story.
01:31We lost someone because of lies, poison.
01:37And we're asking for your help.
01:42Whether you live here in Israel or you live abroad, it's your duty and responsibility to make sure that everyone in your circle hears the actual truth.
01:53They're going to argue.
01:54They're not going to necessarily believe you right away.
01:56But it's your job to at least try.
01:58At least try to tell them the truth.
02:00Because that's the same thing that happens when we share the gospel.
02:04Deceived people need to hear truth.
02:07We're praying for the family.
02:11Our condolences have already gone out.
02:12And from all over the world, thank you everyone who sent love and gifts.
02:17We're going to continue to pour into the family.
02:19The other details were, yes, it is confirmed with the family because our pastor sat in their home talking to them.
02:26It is confirmed that they were about to be engaged to be married.
02:30Yes, that's been confirmed.
02:32But can I also say tonight to dispel other bad reporting, sometimes even from the Jewish community, you can get some bad reporting.
02:44I didn't appreciate one particular article that said Sarah, a Jewish member of the community, and Yaron, who used to be Jewish but became a Christian.
03:03How wrong is that reporting?
03:08Let me be clear.
03:10Sarah and Yaron, we lost two Jewish believers.
03:16There isn't a more Jewish thing to do than to find your Jewish Messiah.
03:22That's the most Jewish thing you can do.
03:30So thank you for your love and prayers.
03:33All of those that have emailed, text, called.
03:36We're doing our best.
03:37Did we, I assume we got the photos if I was not looking.
03:41Thank you, team.
03:42What a beautiful young couple.
03:43Just beautiful.
03:44Serving their country.
03:46You know, serving unity.
03:47Trying to feed people.
03:48That's how deep the poison goes.
03:53And as sad as it is for me to say this, it is unfortunately an incredible segue to our topic tonight.
04:04Tonight is going to be the last night of our series, Resurrection Power, where we have to deal with death and the power of the resurrection.
