Hundreds of Israeli cruise passengers aboard the Mano Maritime–operated Crown Iris found themselves unable to disembark at the Greek island of Syros after a pro-Hamas, pro–Palestinian protest blocked the port. Local demonstrators—estimated at around 150–200—raised Palestinian flags, chanted slogans, and formed a human barrier, prompting Greek authorities and the cruise line to halt disembarkation out of concern for passenger safety.
