00:00I can tell you as somebody that sits about two feet away from you for most of our lives,
00:05I don't want you to smell like ranch on your lip.
00:07Welcome to WatchMojo, and today we're counting down our picks for the top 10 random products
00:12you didn't know you could actually buy from these well-known brands.
00:15I've stopped the production line.
00:17Yes.
00:18Sorry, everybody. Sorry.
00:21Number 10, Evian Water Bra. Evian.
00:24It designed a bra that was filled with water and targeted women to help keep their breasts cool.
00:29It also had a handy pouch to hold their water bottle.
00:32If you were alive in the 90s, you might remember the popular water bra,
00:36which used water-filled inserts within the bra cups to give the bust a little more oomph.
00:40This was not that.
00:41The Evian Water Bra, created by the bottled water brand in 2005,
00:45was designed to allow the wearer to hold ready-to-drink natural spring water on their chest.
00:50Okay, this is your most important secret weapon, the water bra.
00:54Just stay away from sharp corners.
00:56Evian believed this would be a convenient way for consumers to carry water throughout the day.
01:01Plus, the garment would have a cooling effect during warmer weather.
01:04Few people agreed, however, and the product was quickly discontinued shortly after its launch.
01:09You've just been served by Evian Bottle Service.
01:11All right.
01:11Enjoy.
01:12Number 9, Currywurst, Volkswagen.
01:14We have produced last year 6.8 million sausages in this factory here.
01:22In here?
01:22Yeah.
01:23Since 1973, the Wolfsburg Volkswagen plan has produced what they refer to as part number 199398500A,
01:31but you won't find it anywhere on your car.
01:33It's Volkswagen's own Currywurst, a type of sausage popular in Germany.
01:37Volkswagen produces up to 7 million sausages in a year, which are sold in supermarkets and
01:43at football stadiums, and are given away to hungry Volkswagen customers.
01:46You can find this product in Germany and several other European countries, but unfortunately,
01:51the Currywurst is not available in the United States.
01:53However, if you do manage to get your hands on one and would like to add some extra flavor,
01:57pick up some part number 1993985900B.
02:01That's none other than Volkswagen's very own ketchup.
02:03And now squeeze it back up.
02:05I was going to do that!
02:07You're making it harder!
02:09You're making it more complicated than shouting at me!
02:12Number 8, Ranch Ice Cream, Hidden Valley and Van Leeuwen.
02:15It tastes like pasta with mayonnaise.
02:19Ooh, there's an aftertaste.
02:20Some people say they'll put ranch dressing on everything.
02:23Van Leeuwen Ice Cream decided to put that claim to the test.
02:26Their collaboration with Hidden Valley to create ranch-flavored ice cream debuted in 2023
02:30for a limited time only, and reactions were mixed.
02:33The flavor was said to have notes of garlic powder, herbs, and buttermilk with a hint of sweetness.
02:39Ranch lovers loved it, and the ranch-neutral could do without it.
02:42Hidden Valley Associate Director Rachel Garrison even suggested customers top their scoops with
02:47pretzels or potato chips for the ultimate ranch sundae experience.
02:51Unless you really like, I mean, I like ranch, but that is, that tastes kind of rancid.
02:56I'm trying to see where, like, it would make sense.
02:58Number 7, Cheese Nail Polish, Velveeta and Nails Incorporated.
03:02The price is $15.
03:04No.
03:05No.
03:06That's a, that's a cheap manicure if you ask me, though.
03:09The golden yellow hue of Velveeta Mac and Cheese would make a bright, summer-friendly
03:13nail polish color, but what if the similarities didn't stop there?
03:16In 2022, Velveeta and Nails Incorporated combined forces to create nail polish that not only looked
03:22like mac and cheese, but smelled like it, too.
03:24The color was called La Dolce Velveeta, and when fully dried, it took on the unmistakable
03:29scent of a bowl of Velveeta shells, exactly as promised.
03:32The product was only sold for a limited time, but devoted Velveeta fans can still snag a
03:36bottle for themselves on eBay.
03:38Number 6, Yogurt, Cosmopolitan.
03:41In 1999, the popular women's magazine Cosmopolitan wanted to provide their customers with something
03:46to snack on while they read.
03:48For reasons unknown, they decided nothing says Cosmo like dairy, and subsequently came
03:53out with a line of low-fat flavored yogurts.
03:55The magazine, which frequently included tips for weight loss, was attempting to cash in
03:59on the healthy, low-fat food trend of the time.
04:02The yogurt was also linked to the magazine's famous sex tips, supposedly inspired by a study
04:07that found that 65% of Britons had used food during lovemaking.
04:11Despite these attempts to justify this product's existence, its high price and poor marketing
04:15led to the product's discontinuation in 2001.
04:18Number 5, Pepper Mills, Peugeot.
04:20We got this lineup of seven different Pepper Mills, because our old favorite one had been
04:25slightly redesigned, and we found some new ones on the market.
04:28This company has been in business for over 200 years, but they haven't been making cars
04:32that long.
04:33Though Peugeot is known today as one of the foremost automobile makers,
04:37the Peugeot family was originally known for manufacturing items like saws and coffee grinders.
04:42In 1874, Peugeot introduced its pepper mill, which was widely considered to be the best
04:47on the market.
04:48The product design was so popular and reliable that Peugeot still manufactures the pepper
04:52mills today.
04:53The pepper mills now come in a variety of styles, materials, and colors, but still contain the
04:58same helix-shaped grinder that produces perfectly cracked pepper every time.
05:02Created years before the first Peugeot car, pepper mills are the original marvel,
05:07of Peugeot engineering.
05:09Number 4, Machine Guns, Samsung.
05:12There is a chance that your smartphone and a South Korean sentry gun have a manufacturer
05:16in common.
05:16In 2003, a division of Samsung developed the SGR-A1 in collaboration with Korea University.
05:23Designed to automate certain guard posts along the Korean demilitarized zone, these high-tech
05:27machines are equipped with infrared cameras, voice recognition, and laser rangefinders.
05:33The system can be mounted with an automatic machine gun and a multiple grenade launcher.
05:37When an unknown person is detected, the system will fire automatically, unless overridden
05:42by a human operator.
05:43The autonomous weapon is probably Samsung's most controversial product, given the very real
05:48risk of increased civilian casualties.
05:51A and B gun, tracking and firing, multiple targets.
05:55Number 3, Ranch Lip Balm, Hidden Valley, and Burt's Bees.
05:59Is there nothing Hidden Valley won't ranchify?
06:01Time for some ranch!
06:03The salad dressing company came back for another brand collab in 2024, this time with lip balm
06:13maker Burt's Bees.
06:19Originally, this product was intended as just an April Fool's prank for social media, but
06:24the public response was so enthusiastic, they decided to actually go through with it.
06:28The lip balms came in four flavors, Hidden Valley Ranch, Fresh Carrot, Buffalo Sauce, and
06:33Crunchy Celery.
06:34I want to do the Buffalo Wings one and the Ranch one, and mix them, like put it on top and then
06:39one on the bottom.
06:40The perfect flavor range to refresh your lips after a hearty meal of chicken wings.
06:45Reviews from customers were mixed, but this product undoubtedly garnered both Hidden Valley
06:49and Burt's Bees a ton of buzz.
06:51This Hidden Valley, Burt's Bees combo collaboration is over because the four-pack sold out in less
07:00than 24 hours.
07:02Number 2, Chicken Scented Clogs, KFC and Crocs.
07:11It's no secret that Crocs love some funky footwear.
07:14It's pretty much their entire business model.
07:16However, in 2020, their collaboration with KFC took things to the next level.
07:20The Kentucky Fried Chicken X Crocs Bucket Clog was designed to look like a bucket of KFC's
07:25famous fried chicken, complete with drumstick gibbets perched delicately on top.
07:30Those gibbets were even more than they appeared, as an up-close inspection revealed, they even
07:34smelled like fried chicken.
07:36The clogs went viral after they debuted at New York Fashion Week, and the internet was flooded
07:40with articles about how apparently smelling your Crocs can now make you hungry.
07:44Love it or hate it, it's definitely a fashion statement.

08:09Number 1, Frozen Dinners, Colgate.
08:12Colgate crab meat entree sounds like a cursed toothpaste flavor, but it was actually a real product.
08:17In the mid-20th century, dinner time got a whole lot easier with the invention of the
08:21frozen TV dinner.
08:23The time-saving product quickly became a sensation, becoming widely available in a variety of dinner
08:28types throughout the 1950s and 60s.
08:30This is when Colgate decided they wanted in on the action.
08:33In 1964, the toothpaste company began market testing their Colgate kitchen line.
08:38Colgate Total is the only toothpaste clinically proven to fight tartar, plaque, gingivitis, and
08:43bad breath between brushings.
08:44The product line featured chicken and crab meat entrees, and was only marketed in Madison,
08:49Wisconsin, before the company abandoned the endeavor.
08:51A popular image of an alleged Colgate beef lasagna dinner also exists, but Colgate vehemently
08:57denies the product's existence.
08:59Which of these surprising products would you be willing to try?
09:01Let us know in the comments.
09:03People were gobbling them up, and they were actually eating them in front of the TV.
09:08We'll be back up to the TV.
09:31We'll be back.
