Speaking to reporters in the Oval Office, President Trump took direct aim at former President Obama, accusing him of "treason."

00:35I didn't know that they were going to do it. I don't really follow that too much.

00:38It's sort of a witch hunt, just a continuation of the witch hunt.

00:43The witch hunt that you should be talking about is they caught President Obama absolutely cold, Tulsi Gabbard.

00:49What they did to this country in 2016, starting in 2016, but going up, all the way going up to 2020 in the election.

01:00They tried to rig the election, and they got caught.

01:03And there should be very severe consequences for that.

01:06You know, when we caught Hillary Clinton, I said, you know what?

01:12It's the ex-wife of a president, and I thought it was sort of terrible.

01:17And I let her off the hook, and I'm very happy I did.

01:21But it's time to start after what they did to me.

01:25And whether it's right or wrong, it's time to go after people.

01:32So people say, oh, you know, a group.

01:33It's not a group.

01:34It's Obama.

01:35His orders are on the paper.

01:37The papers are signed.

01:38The papers came right out of their office.

01:40They sent everything to be highly classified.

01:43Well, the highly classifieds have been released.

01:46And what they did in 2016 and in 2020 is very criminal.

01:54So that's really the things you should be talking about.

02:23And Biden was there with him.

02:27And Clapper, the whole group was there.

03:32They tried to steal the election.

03:34They tried to obfuscate the election.

03:37They did things that nobody's ever even imagined, even in other countries.

03:41You've seen some pretty rough countries.

03:43This man has seen some pretty rough countries, but you've never seen anything like it.

03:46And we have all of the documents.

03:49And from what Tulsi told me, she's got thousands of additional documents coming.

03:55So, President Obama, it was his concept, his idea, but he also got it from crooked Hillary

04:04Clinton.

04:04Crooked is a $3 bill.

04:07Hillary Clinton and her group, the Democrats, spent $12 million to Christopher Steele to write

04:15up a report that was a total fake report.

04:17It took two years to figure that out, but it came out that it was a total fake report.

04:22It was made up fiction.

04:23And they used that.

04:25Now, the one thing they weren't able to do was to, and probably the only thing I respect

04:30about the press in years is the press refused to write it before the election.

04:36They refused to put it in.

04:38The Steele report was a disaster.

04:41All lies, all fabrication, all admitted, and admitted fraud.

04:45But she paid $12 million and the Democrats for that report to a wise guy named Christopher

04:51Steele.

04:52He wrote a phony report, and they wanted to get that report in before the election.

04:58And I'll tell you what, I talk about all the time, the fake news, how bad it is.

05:02But in this case, they wouldn't do it.

05:05They saw it.

05:06They read it.

05:08And they said, we don't believe it.

05:10And it was only after, substantially, like a month and a half after the election that it

05:15got printed.

05:16And it was a big wisp.

05:17It was just like a bang of nothing.

05:18Because the election had ended.

05:20If that report had gotten published by the New York Times or somebody, and I respect the

05:27Times for maybe only this, because they're crooked as you can be.

05:30They're a terrible paper, a crooked, corrupt paper.

05:34But for this one moment, they said, this is bullshit.

05:38We can't put this in.

05:40And neither could any other paper.

05:41Wall Street Journal's a lousy paper, very, very dishonest paper.

05:44As you see, I'm suing them for a lot of money because they do things very badly.

05:50It's a really, it's got a nice name, but it's really, in my opinion, it's a terrible

05:53paper.

05:54And it can be corrupt.

05:57But just so you know, they didn't take the Steele report.

06:02It was the dossier.

06:03Remember the famous dossier?

06:05I called it the fake news dossier.

06:07The news wouldn't publish it.

06:09And I'm amazed.

06:11They had two and a half months.

06:12It was finished, two and a half months.

06:14That was supposed to be what was going to happen.

06:17And it got published a couple of months after the election.

06:20And frankly, nobody cared too much about it.

06:23But that was a big thing.

06:24No, no.

06:25We caught Hillary Clinton.

06:26We caught Barack Hussein Obama.

06:29They're the ones.

06:30And then you have many, many people under them.

06:33Susan Rice.

06:34They're all there.

06:35The names are all there.

06:36And I guess they figured they're going to put this in classified information and nobody

06:42will ever see it again.

06:43But it doesn't work that way.

06:45And it's the most unbelievable thing I think I've ever read.

06:48So you ought to take a look at that and stop talking about nonsense because this is big stuff.

06:55But never has a thing like this happened in the history of our country.

06:59And by the way, it morphed into the 2020 race.

07:02And the 2020 race was rigged.

07:04And it was a rigged election.

07:07And because it was rigged, we have millions of people in our country.

07:10We had inflation.

07:12We solved the inflation problem.

07:13But millions and millions of people came into our country because of that.

07:18And people that shouldn't have been people from gangs and from jails and from mental institutions.

07:25People that we don't want in our country and people that we're getting out.

07:28Dangerous people.

07:3011,888 murderers.

07:33Many of them, 50 percent, more than 50 percent, murdered more than one person.

07:39I hate to say this with such a distinguished guest, but, you know, they asked me a question.

07:44I've got to answer the question.

07:45No, Barack Hussein Obama is the ringleader.

07:50Hillary Clinton was right there with them.

07:52And so was Sleepy Joe Biden.

07:54And so were the rest of them.

07:55Comey, Clapper, the whole group.

07:58And they tried to rig an election and they got caught.

08:01And then they did rig the election in 2020.

08:04And then because I knew I won that election by a lot, I did it a third time and I won in a landslide.

08:08Every swing state won the popular vote.

08:11But I won that all the same way in 2020.

08:14And look at the damage that was caused.
