Salvador Pérez continúa labrando su camino hacia el Salón de la Fama en Cooperstown, una vez que termine su carrera en las Grandes Ligas.

Este lunes por la noche dio otro paso más en la senda dorada, al conseguir los jonrones 289 y 290 de su carrera y con ello dejar atrás a Bob Abreu en la lista de los máximos jonroneros venezolanos de todos los tiempos en la MLB y solo quedar a diez estacazos de redondear la cifra a 300 bambinazos.

Hasta el momento, solamente tres criollos cosechan esta cantidad de cuadrangulares en la MLB; Miguel Cabrera (511); Andrés Galarraga (399) y Eugenio Suárez (312), por lo que el receptor de Reales de Kansas City busca unirse a esta selecta lista en este mismo 2025.
