BABY ELEPHANT LEADS CHARGE TO WATERHOLE
WITH PIX AND VIDEO
This is the adorable moment a baby elephant leads the charge to a nearby waterhole.
Running along in excitement, the little elephant can be seen taking pole position in the sprint in Addo National Elephant Park in South Africa.
The moment was caught on camera by Anne Laing, from the Eastern Cape, South Africa.
Anne said: “This really cute baby elephant was running flat out to the water.
Once there, they had a good splash in the tiny water hole, drinking milk from mom, then having a little nap, before finally leading the herd away again.
The mother and the other females in the herd usually guide and protect the newborn calf.
