00:00Another intense day in the Russia-Ukraine war as we hit day 1,243, and the violence shows no signs of stopping.

00:08Russia says its troops have seized the village of Bilohora in Donetsk.

00:13In the Sumy region, a 78-year-old woman was killed when the village of Sveska came under attack.

00:19Six more people lost their lives across the Dnipropetrovsk and Donetsk regions,

00:23including in cities like Pokrovsk and Kostyantinivka.

00:26In Zaporozhya, three women were injured as Russia launched an overwhelming 457 attacks on just one day.

00:35Overnight, Ukraine's Air Force shot down 18 out of 57 Russian drones.

00:40But on the other side, Russia claims it downed a staggering 216 Ukrainian drones heading toward its territory.

00:47Moscow's mayor posted updates all day long, showing the city on high alert.

00:52On the political front, Russia says it's open to a peace settlement.

00:55But only on its terms.

00:58This comes just days after Donald Trump reportedly gave Moscow 50 days to agree to a ceasefire or face tougher sanctions.
