00:00Bangladesh's authorities said the death toll from a plane crash in Dhaka on Monday afternoon has risen to 19.
00:09They said more than 50 others were injured after a Bangladesh Air Force training jet crashed into the Milestone School and College compound in Dhaka's northern area of Utara.
00:19The injured victims, including children, were rushed to hospitals across the capital with burn wounds.
00:26As emergency teams raced to help the victims, the Bangladesh Army appealed to the public for urgent blood donations to support life-saving efforts.
00:36The identities of the dead have yet to be confirmed.
00:40The Bangladesh Army said the F-7BGI aircraft took off at 1.06pm for a routine training mission and crashed shortly after, erupting into flames.
00:52The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
00:55In honor of the victims, the government has declared Tuesday as a national day of mourning.
