00:00what's up guys welcome back to the channel in today's video we'll be talking about real world
00:05asset tokenization and i will be giving you the top five real world asset cryptos to look out for
00:12this is a developing narrative in the space right now and i feel like this could be a sector that
00:17could see a hundred to a thousand x gains this coming bull cycle so if this is something that
00:24you're really interested in make sure to tap in hit that like button subscribe to the channel
00:29and also make sure you head on over to our main site centralized.new so what is uh asset
00:35tokenization so this is a concept i've been talking about for many years i put out a book i think around
00:412019 really talking about asset tokenization and how that is revolutionizing how investments are
00:49being managed particularly for traded and non-traded assets so this is all being done by using blockchain
00:57technology and it's a process for easy access to liquidity even for traditional illiquid assets
01:03and it also opens up previously inaccessible investment opportunities to smaller investors
01:10so in essence tokenization converts the rights to an asset into a digital token on a blockchain
01:17that represents anything from stocks to bonds to real estate and this digital transformation
01:24actually encompasses various forms of tokens that extend to different applications including
01:32the lawful possession and transfer regulatory compliance and also just creating new avenues
01:39for investment products so the essence of tokenization really lies with this whole idea of
01:47by having uh digital representations that uh sort of translate into um the real world uh or into
01:56the digital realm but uh really pegging uh those um rights to something that is in the real world
02:04so a token on the blockchain can pretty much embody anything of a value like i said it could be stocks or bonds
02:11or options or real estate or patents or it could be even an identity on uh for something like an internet
02:19of things uh device so there's uh obviously some advantages that come with uh tokenization and a lot of it
02:27comes with this whole idea of having cryptography uh being uh what secures um the the storage and also the
02:37transfer of transfer over a distributed uh database and uh the process is meant to enhance uh transparency
02:44of ownership throughout the life cycle of a particular asset so asset based uh tokenization or asset-backed
02:51tokenization really is um seeing what uh kind of uh you know tokenized assets can uh be put under frameworks
03:03that consider the technological contractual and uh regulatory aspects of a particular asset when it
03:10comes to its ownership and its distribution so there are a lot of these obviously legal aspects that also
03:17tie into this whole thing um you've got uh the legal rights of the actual holder itself and also just uh
03:25the economic interest in that particular asset um so this is something that uh is being sort of
03:32solved as a problem when it comes to transacting more effectively in a digital world and uh um
03:39you know blockchains are behind all of this development and of course there are a lot of
03:45investment opportunities that also come from this whole development uh new investment products uh revenue sources
03:53directly uh being generated by connecting um end investors uh to other uh people that might want to
04:01participate who may have previously not had access to um these types of assets or that type of liquidity
04:09pool structure due to the fact that they just don't have the um either they're not accredited investors
04:19etc so i'm just going to give you a little bit of a quick rundown to a few um examples of tokenized
04:26assets so you can look at things like commodities obviously like gold diamonds oil uh equity through
04:33security tokens and also intellectual property with cash flows also currencies via collateralized uh stable
04:42coins as well you can look at things like debt collab uh collateralized uh by either payables or
04:49receivables or receivables and also just uh real estate uh via uh rental uh income so like reeds for
04:56example so tokenization of our real world assets is definitely a shift in the way we handle and
05:03interact with value opening up new investment and also just giving us a little bit extra security and
05:10transparency and regulatory compliance uh using our blockchains so if you want to know more in depth
05:18about all of this make sure you check out the link in the description to my book tokenized trillions and
05:24it does go into detail into a whole range of these asset classes whether it's equities or real estate or
05:31commodities and how uh the actual tokenization process actually works step by step so i recommend
05:39you check it out the link is in the description but i know you're all here to go over these five
05:45real world assets that are like uh based on these crypto assets that are currently actually being
05:53traded on multiple exchanges so we're going to get into some of those today the top one on our list is
06:00the mkr token which is a maker protocol so maker is if you don't already know it's a dao a decentralized
06:08autonomous organization running on ethereum and the mkr token is essentially just an erc20 token
06:15holds uh different functionalities within the maker protocol playing uh sort of uh critical roles
06:21in stability and governance and also recapitalization it's also a utility token of sorts so it can be
06:27used to auction dae seplus for maker so dae is the stable coin uh that is issued out through the maker dao
06:36and this is subsequently burned and also contributes to the stability of uh maker protocol's uh stable
06:43uh coin die okay so it is also a governance token so if you're an mkr holder you've got voting power
06:51so you can actively influence the risk management in the the business logic of the maker protocol as
06:57well and it can also be used as a recapitalization resource so that means that mkr can effectively be
07:05minted autonomously and also sold for die to recapitalize the maker protocol especially in
07:12times of insolvency so mkr token is uh definitely the top one on the list and i've been talking about
07:19this for a very long time if you've been following this channel the second token we need to talk about
07:24is also another one that i've talked about previously which is a centrifuge so the token
07:29ticker cfg it's an on-chain governance uh token so pretty much centrifuge uh empowers decentralization
07:39and democracy through this native token and the token functions as an inch like an essential tool for
07:46the management and security of the centrifuge ecosystem so you can use it for governance if you're
07:51a fg a cfg holder that means you can actively participate in decision making processes making
07:58you know making sure that the network is democratic you can also use it as a you know just like a
08:04utility token in the sense that it is essential for transaction fees and network governance as well
08:11and also if you think about the security cfg network rewards actually also promote decentralization
08:17and actually encourage agents to perform crucial network functions strengthening the network security
08:23so you know cfg token is definitely another one a lot harder to get uh on a lot of these platforms so
08:31the best way to really procure that is going to get the wrapped version of uh centrifuge so that's a
08:37wrapped cfg which is issued on the ethereum blockchain you can easily get that through your
08:43meta mask etc check out the link or the actual video that i did uh reviewing a centrifuge and
08:50their whole ecosystem to just kind of get a clear breakdown of how you can get hold of this token if
08:56there's something that you're interested in the third token on the list today is also one that i've
09:01previously mentioned in the previous video i did a review for maple finance or mpl is the token ticker
09:09so it's a governance token it's also used for incentives within that ecosystem so maple finance
09:15effectively is a blockchain powered institutional capital marketplace that uh utilizes this mpl token
09:23for governance and other incentives and mpl also uh makes sure you know uh governance is done
09:30uh through voting using your uh mpl um stake so it is also uh a token that's used to provide a pool cover
09:42so mpl is used to stake insurance for liquidity pools this makes the platform a little bit more secure
09:50and like i said it's an incentive token it says as a means to share the network fees and also just
09:56encourages active participation through uh different incentives including buybacks and interest uh
10:02rebates as well so mpl go check it out the full uh review is on our main site you could also check
10:08out the video review on his channel the fourth token on our list is gfi token uh this is a gold finch
10:17decentralized credit protocol i've covered it in full as well on this channel so if you've been uh
10:23following then a lot of these are not coming as a surprise to you gold theme uh goldfinch actually
10:29is aiming to just redefine credit and uh just sort of enabling cryptocurrency loans without crypto
10:35collateral through its native token gfi and fidu but today we're just focusing on the main token gfi
10:43which is a governance token it's used for voting staking community grants also depositing into a member
10:51vaults promoting the protocols uh growth and accessibility the fidu token even though we're
10:56not talking about that fidu is just a useful liquidity representing deposits in the senior pool
11:03allowing liquidity providers to effectively earn interest and also redeem usdc through gold french
11:10dap so gfi token is the fourth one on our list and the final token we need to talk about today is snx
11:18which is synthetics so this is an ecosystem for synthetic assets i've also covered it on this
11:24channel it's also a full i was one of the first people to really review synthetics um and uh the
11:31full review is still on our main site so go to decentralized.news to check that out but uh snx snx
11:38token is the token ticker and uh it's issued as an erc20 token on the ethereum blockchain
11:45and its role is really around collateralizing and stabilizing assets uh so synthetics that are
11:52issued through uh this protocol so it's uh uh collateral to actually mint a various synthetic
11:59assets so since uh that just enables seamless conversion between sort of different kinds of
12:04synthetic assets it's also used for rewards and incentives so you can stake snx and get rewards
12:11that are proportional to the fees that are generated by the system so uh linking snx to the value of the
12:18network's usage as well so it's a very um utilitarian type of uh mechanism that ties it to this token
12:27and there are other use cases that they are proposing like uh trading and loans um you know
12:35to payments and remittances uh all things that can enhance the growth and reaching functionality of
12:41the synthetics ecosystem so i think you should really check this on this one out as well so these
12:46are the top uh real world asset cryptocurrencies that you need to be looking out for uh diverse
12:52applications as you can see uh it's a ever-growing um sort of uh sector and i think it's really
12:59going to do good numbers if you are a hold of any of these tokens in a bull market scenario but of
13:06course this is not financial advice and make sure you're doing your own research okay i just try to
13:13bring you all the gems uh before anybody else covers this type of material and uh you can definitely
13:21vouch for that make sure you hit that like button leave a comment in the description if you've got any
13:27suggestions as to whatever other topics you want me to discuss let me know but if you're interested
13:31in uh like i said real world asset tokenization in complete detail thousands of pages of research
13:38and years of research gone into this check out my book tokenized trillions and it's a bestseller you
13:44can go check out the reviews on amazon and places like that it's available pretty much on any um
13:50platform online you can also check out blockchain applied that also deals with the different use cases of
13:55these distributed ledges across different industries and also check out my new book d5 millionaire you can
14:02go to d5-millionaire.com go download it for free if you want to know more about decentralized finance
14:10and all of that good stuff head on over to our main site as usual make sure you like share and subscribe
14:17and turn on the notifications i will be seeing you guys in the next video peace
