Le champion olympique en titre du 100 m, Noah Lyles, a été battu lors du meeting de la Diamond League à Londres, pour sa première sortie sur la distance depuis Paris 2024. Auteur d’un modeste 10.00, l’Américain a été devancé par le Jamaïcain Oblique Seville (9.86), auteur d’une performance étincelante. Malgré cette défaite, Lyles garde la tête froide et préfère tirer des enseignements de cette rentrée face à une concurrence de très haut niveau.
