00:00We all hate burpees, I hate it most, but you have to do the burpees first.
00:14What's up guys, here is Rao Alejandro and today I'm going to show you my workout.
00:30The way I work out is changing all the time. We're in the middle of the store, so sometimes we work in the morning, sometimes we work at night.
00:38But we always find a place or a moment to work out. There's no excuses. It's part of our lifestyle.
00:48For me it's really important, you know, to maintain a whole balance in your body, like mentally and physically.
00:55It's a crazy life that we're living, so it's good to have balance. We take time to go to the gym, take time to work out.
01:01It keeps you focused, it keeps you with energy, good health, good moods.
01:06Also like we're working now like in gaining a little bit more of muscle, but at the same time be able to perform and dance.
01:15And it's a whole continuity of workouts and discipline every day, non-stop.
01:25All right, I'm starting my workout with burpees.
01:30We all hate burpees. I hate it most.
01:34But we start with the most difficult exercise.
01:37And then the rest is more smooth.
01:43I think burpees most complete like workout for like a body, like a full body workout.
01:54Burpees swing, burpees with punches and or like burpees squats.
02:01You know, it's a whole variation that you can play with it.
02:04Yeah, it's tough, but at the end of the day, you're gonna feel happy.
02:13If you do burpees during the morning, you're gonna fight with the burpees and then you're not gonna fight with no one else during the day.
02:18You're gonna be happy.
02:19But you have to do the burpees first.
02:24Between each exercise, we're jumping into sparring.
02:31And sparring is like, it's fun.
02:34I've been doing Muay Thai for the last five years.
02:38It helps me through the rhythm of my tour.
02:42We do, we have 73 shows in a year.
02:45It's tough.
02:47There's no excuses.
02:48Always with my trainer and Greg, Gregory.
02:51We're working together for like the last five years.
02:54And, you know, always pushing me to be better and be focused on my goals.
03:01All right guys, pull-offs.
03:03Give you a good shape, a good look to your body.
03:08And, um, give you strength also, calisthenics.
03:12We do a different type of combination of grips.
03:15Chin-ups, open wide pull-ups, regular ones.
03:22And yeah, and sometimes we do, like, till, you know, the fail.
03:28With the failure, that ones are tough.
03:31But next day, it's gonna be like, let's go to La Playa in Puerto Rico.
03:42You know, the diet is really important.
03:44So you have to also, like, have a whole balance on your food.
03:48I have to, you know, admit that it's tough, but I'm a big fan of sugar.
03:52Maybe one day, a Saturday night, you know, you have fun with your friends.
03:56You eat some, you know what I'm saying?
04:00Yeah, it's all about balance.
04:02If you do balance in your life, I think you're gonna do great.
04:04I think you also need a rodearte de gente que te ayude.
04:08You know, you have to have good people around you to push your heart.
04:11Even if you don't have no one, I think it's for yourself.
04:15If you mentally focus on you, I think you're gonna do great.
04:18And that's what we're doing here.
04:20We always try to find out a place to dedicate to our bodies.
04:26A hundred pounds of kettlebell here.
04:28I don't know if you guys can do this.
04:30Kettlebell Woodshopper is all about full body workout, rotation, also core, legs, arm.
04:39Mostly, like, all my exercises are, like, focused on full body stuff, you know, combinations of full body.
04:50We do, like, the four seconds breathing in, four seconds breathing out.
04:55Te ayude a regular todo tu cuerpo.
04:59And then, all right, let's get back to business again.
05:10Kettlebells, it makes you strong.
05:12That's a powerful exercise.
05:14So if you want to get strong,
05:16de verdad, tu me entiendes?
05:18Use kettlebells.
05:20If you're doing landmine press, this is a fun one.
05:30It's a whole full body, full body workout.
05:33Work your legs with squats, core, shoulders, rotation.
05:38We start on the right one, the middle, and then left one.
05:43It gives you power.
05:44It's like an explosive exercise.
05:46I love this type of exercise.
05:48It's fun.
05:49The type of exercise that we're doing is not to get big.
06:00It's just a combination of having strength, power, stamina, and mobility.
06:06Our workout, you know, we combine weight with calisthenics.
06:10So we're doing push-ups.
06:12Like the front leg, Tyson ones, push-ups with claps.
06:21Do that in the beginning better.
06:23We'll connect with the core, tension in your legs.
06:27It's a quick exercise even if you don't have time during the day.
06:32Before going to the shower, do some push-ups, you know, like in the morning.
06:36It's a good start.
06:37So push-ups are like mandatory.
06:40Every day, non-stop, even in our day off, we do push-ups, a hundred push-ups minimum.
06:51Good sleep.
06:52That's important.
06:53Like eight hours of sleep.
06:54I try to respect that.
06:56Even if you go to bed like late 3 a.m., you have to find the way to sleep eight hours after that.
07:03You know, that's how we maintain the good health in our muscles to avoid injuries.
07:09That's important.
07:10Out comes the fun part, you know, when you guys get ready for the summer.
07:15Showing the abs.
07:16We're working on the abs right now.
07:18We have like six combinations and we're adding weight also.
07:27When I'm dancing, you know, jumping, doing some, I don't know, some Michael Jackson move.
07:32You have to have a good core.
07:35I like the electro side to side in the middle because it works literally like everything.
07:42And I like when you guys want the, like all of these, like the V, you know.
07:48That's perfect for it.
07:53Everybody want to have good abs, but abs, you have to put it to work, you know.
07:58It doesn't come easily.
08:00It's the hardest part.
08:01Also, you know, you have to maintain a good diet.
08:04And man, it's all about health.
