PUNCHITO!
00:06
PUNCHITO!
00:12
If you will look at the first picture in your teletalky, you will see a little guru.
00:18
His name is PUNCHITO.
00:20
He's the little fellow with the big ears.
00:22
One big little chicken, she clucked.
00:25
The little goose, he honked.
00:28
And the little pig, he squealed.
00:34
But when PUNCHITO tried to bray, out came nothing.
00:41
He tried and he tried, but no hee-haw.
00:46
And right away the little animals made up a song about him.
00:50
PUNCHITO!
00:56
He is a good little burrow, but he cannot bray.
01:01
Cannot hee, cannot haunt.
01:04
It is our fault.
01:07
PUNCHITO!
01:09
PUNCHITO!
01:13
The coosers and geeses, the nephews and nieces all say.
01:19
What a shame, such a shame.
01:22
Too bad for the parents of PUNCHITO!
01:25
PUNCHITO has ruined their name.
01:27
PUNCHITO!
01:35
Ay, poor PUNCHITO!
01:38
His heart was so heavy like a stone.
01:41
He was so ashamed, he ran away and climbed to the top of the highest mountain.
01:46
And when he got there, what do you think he saw?
01:49
PUNCHITO!
01:50
A little eagle in his nest.
01:52
The little eagle was crying.
01:55
So PUNCHITO, he said,
01:58
Hey little eagle, why do you cry?
02:01
And the little eagle said,
02:02
I cannot fly.
02:04
And when an eagle cannot fly, there is much to cry about.
02:08
And when PUNCHITO heard this, he said,
02:11
Ay, you poor little eagle.
02:14
You are almost so bad off like me.
02:17
I am a little burro, and I cannot pray.
02:20
Ay, you poor little burro.
02:23
Do you mind if I cry with you? No?
02:26
No, little burro. Let us cry together.
02:33
And after they could not cry no more,
02:35
each felt so sorry for himself and for one another,
02:38
they decided to jump off the mountain and end it all.
02:44
Well, PUNCHITO and the little eagle did jump off the top of the mountain.
02:47
But as they were falling down and down,
02:50
suddenly the little eagle called out.
02:52
Look, look my wings, they are flying.
02:55
Flap your ears, little burro, and fly like me.
02:58
I can't. I can't.
03:01
And the ground kept getting bigger and bigger and closer and closer and more bigger.
03:04
But just before the ground got big enough to hit PUNCHITO,
03:07
the little eagle grabbed him by the tail.
03:11
And PUNCHITO made a one point landing.
03:15
Right on the tip of his nose.
03:19
And the little eagle, he said,
03:21
Little burro, you know what? You prayed.
03:24
No, no, I did not pray.
03:27
Oh, but you did.
03:28
You only think you cannot pray, like I thought I could not fly.
03:33
So if you think you can pray, you can pray.
03:36
So what you think?
03:37
PUNCHITO did not know what to think.
03:40
But he thought he ought to think, and maybe think some more.
03:44
In the meantime,
03:47
At the village, a big fiesta was commencing to begin.
03:51
The little chicken was practicing her clock.
03:55
The little goose was practicing his honk.
03:59
The little pig was warming up his squealer.
04:02
The band was playing pudding music and everybody was happy.
04:08
That is, everybody but the Papa and Mama of little PUNCHITO.
04:13
And they were very sad.
04:15
Oh, my poor PUNCHITO.
04:17
If we only had him back, we would not care if he never prayed nothing.
04:25
Listen, Papa.
04:26
What is it?
04:27
And when the Papa Burro looked to see...
04:30
There was little PUNCHITO standing beside the little chicken, the little goose, and the little pig.
04:36
And when the band did play, you never did hear such music.
04:42
Poor PUNCHITO.
04:43
He joined in and prayed.
04:45
Hee-haw!
04:46
Hee-haw!
04:47
And now, little PUNCHITO makes the biggest and most beautiful hee-haw in all Mexico.
04:57
Oh my god!
04:58
Hee-haw!
05:00
And now, little PUNCHITO makes the biggest and most beautiful hee-haw in all Mexico.
05:08
And now, little Panchito makes the biggest and most beautiful hee-haw in all Mexico.
05:19
Which goes to prove, if you think you cannot, you cannot.
05:25
But if you think you can, you can, I think.
05:29
Hee-haw, hee-haw, hee-haw.
05:38
Hee-haw, hee-haw.
