Jim Jordan Lays Out How The Biden-Harris Administration 'Used Your Money Against You'

At today's House Judiciary Committee hearing, Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) decried the use of taxpayer dollars under the Biden Administration.

00:00Thank you, Ranking Member. I now recognize the chairman of the full committee, Chairman Jordan.

00:06Thank you, Mr. Chairman. In simple terms, they used your money against you.

00:12Took your tax money, spent it on stupid things, things you don't approve of.

00:17This is what the Biden-Harris administration did.

00:19Millions of taxpayer dollars on their progressive pet projects.

00:22As the chairman highlighted, $1 billion in DEI grants from the Education Department,

00:27$2 million in grants for gender ideology from the Justice Department,

00:33millions of dollars for progressive criminal justice reforms,

00:38radical open border activities, billions and billions of dollars for that.

00:43And I think, as the chairman mentioned, our favorite, of course, is Sesame Street in Iraq.

00:49Bert and Ernie, Big Bird in Baghdad.

00:54Wow, what a great use of taxpayer dollars.

00:57That's what this hearing is about, talking about all the stupid things they spent your money on.

01:01Now, the good news is, American people said, we're going to put President Trump in the White House.

01:05And he put this group together called Doge.

01:07They've identified all kinds of crazy things.

01:08And later this week, hopefully, maybe even today,

01:11the Senate is going to vote on the first package to rescind some of the stupid things

01:14they took your money and spent it on.

01:17So I want to thank the chairman for his hard work on this subcommittee,

01:20all the good hearings he's had, and for this hearing,

01:23and thank our witnesses for being here.
