Prime Minister Narendra Modi hailed Indian astronaut Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla historic space mission as he returned to Earth. PM said Shubhanshu Shukla has inspired a billion dreams through his dedication, courage and pioneering spirit.

00:04echoing the sentiment of every single Indian right now. I'll just read it out quickly for

00:08our viewers. The Prime Minister saying, and I quote, I joined the nation in welcoming

00:12Group Captain Subhansha Shukla as he returns to Earth from his historic mission to space

00:17as India's first astronaut to have visited the International Space Station. He's inspired

00:22a billion dreams through his dedication, courage and pioneering spirit. It marks another milestone

00:27towards our own human space flight mission, Gaganyan. And so like I said, the Prime Minister

00:33is summing it up perfectly of what every Indian is going through right now, saying that Group

00:39Captain Shukla has inspired a billion dreams through his dedication, courage and pioneering

00:43spirit. And very importantly, Prime Minister Modi also saying that this takes us closer

00:48towards our own mission, towards mission Gaganyan. Remember Group Captain Subhansha Shukla is a

00:53Gaganyan himself. He was chosen for that mission. And then to ensure that we have that knowledge

00:59and we have an astronaut on board who's already been to space, he's sent for this particular

01:04mission. And the knowledge that he's bringing on board now, invaluable. The experiments that

01:10he's conducted for Israel, invaluable. And that's what Prime Minister Modi is also referring to with

01:15this welcome back home message. We can't wait for him to come back to India. That'll be a moment

01:20really for all of us to witness. We can't wait for him to tell us about his experience in space as

01:26well. Oh, yes. And the messages that he's put out while he was in space of how he sees India,

01:32even this time around, when he described the experience as magical, Subhanshu Shukla said that

01:38India is ambitious, India is fearless, India is ready to go and there's nothing that we can't achieve.

01:44So, you know, Akshita, while we stand at this stage, there is so much more that awaits us

01:50in terms of the space missions that we are attempting to conquer. And of course, Prime Minister Narendra

01:56Modi has always put forth the government's vision when it comes to the support that is extended to

02:02ISRO and our astronauts to be able to take such experiments forward.
