Jalandhar (Punjab), July 15, 2025 (ANI): Speaking on death of Marathon Runner Fauja Singh, Jalandhar SSP Harvinder Singh Virk on July 15 informed that an unknown vehicle hit him while he went for walk. He also said that FIR was registered on that. “An unknown vehicle hit Fauja Singh in main road of Jalandhar and Pathankot road when he went for a walk after lunch yesterday. He was admitted to Shrimann Jalandhar School. FIR has been registered on that. CCTV has been analysed to identify the vehicle. We are trying to identify the eye witnesses. We will record the statements of them also…It is an unfortunate that he was no more…,” said Harvinder Singh Virk.
