“Patient is critical…” AIIMS Bhubaneswar MS gives health update of victim of self-immolation case

Bhubaneswar, June 14, 2025 (ANI): AIIMS Bhubaneswar Medical Superintendent Dillip Kumar Parida and Dept of Burns and Plastic Surgery HoD Sanjay Giri on July 14 gave health update of Balasore self-immolation case victim. They said that the situation of patient is critical. “The patient is still critical once... Today, the patient has a temperature of approximately 102 degrees. The team has consulted AIIMS Delhi, they have advised sending culture sensitivity report and continuing the current treatment. The patient is critical and stable,” said Dillip Kumar Parida. “The patient is critical and is in live support in mechanical ventilator. We are giving these 3 inotropes at the high pressure level. Though this, the blood pressure is able to maintain. So, the patient is critical. We inspected the patient and saw the parameters. With 3 inotropes, the BP is maintaining with 120.
