Candles lit in Belgrade for Srebrenica genocide victims

Citizens of Belgrade gather in Serbia’s capital, upon a call from NGOs, lighting candles for the victims of Srebrenica. They honor the memory of more than 8,000 Muslim men and boys killed by Bosnian Serb forces after they captured the eastern town, standing in silence and holding headscarves to represent the mothers of those who were killed.
