00:00in the WWE's rush to counter program AEW it feels like a few details have been

00:17left behind this is your Saturday night's main event preview if this show

00:22is gonna be an hour long Saturday night's main event you could convince me

00:26of that with this match card um I don't know where we're getting a couple hours out of this

00:30uh but we will see I guess Sola Sokola against Jimmy Uso for the United States Championship

00:35I don't think anybody is buying that Jimmy Uso is going to be the United States Champion off of

00:42this I think this is going to be an opportunity to make Solo look uh Solo sorry look big and strong

00:47and pick up a win over a established name in Jimmy Uso and I think as with most things around the

00:54Bloodline and Bloodline adjacent stories there's going to be a lot of shenanigans we will say

01:02going on with this particular program um I obviously I would imagine we get uh Tama Tonga

01:09uh or Tala Tonga uh we get the Solo group that they're doing um obviously I think Jacob Fatu

01:18comes out and a lot of talk again that maybe some new people could be coming in I wouldn't

01:23be surprised if one more layer of backup comes in to help Jacob Fatu and Jimmy Uso to set up some

01:30kind of a six-man tag for SummerSlam that's kind of where I think this one ends up going but Solo

01:38ends up getting the win Randy Orton against Drew McIntyre as I said before I hope that this is just

01:43the beginning of a fun rivalry because these two feel like they could have a very entertaining program

01:49on their hands um but we will see what direction they end up going with it um I could see right um

01:56Drew McIntyre sorry getting the win here he feels like a big deal right now and coming back from

02:01injury get that big win and have him be on the cusp of a championship opportunity I think you could do

02:06that although I will say if they do go with my thought of turning Cody heel at SummerSlam and having

02:13Randy Orton coming off of a title win ain't the worst spot to be or coming off of a big win on

02:18Saturday Night's Man of Answering um isn't the worst spot to be in LA Knight against Seth Rollins

02:23I said it on Raw on our breakdown on Monday I get LA Knight he had a vignette and he hit the BFT

02:29at the end of the night it still felt like an afterthought so I think Seth Rollins probably gets

02:35a dub here but like I said in our look ahead I am wondering what this match looks like because

02:42this is one of the better in-ring performers that LA Knight will go up against and can he

02:47kind of mesh in with that style I thought the match with Jacob Fautu was very very good

02:51at Wrestlemania so can he elevate that game again here against Seth Rollins and this is where I'm

02:56surprised we only got four matches on this card because it's Gunther taking on Goldberg for the

03:01World Heavyweight Championship and I personally don't think this is going to be a 20 minute match

03:06I just don't so I wonder if there is

03:10a big moment where Seth Rollins cashes in and that turns into like a 10 minute type of a match

03:17or something along those lines right um I don't think so I think Gunther probably gets the win here

03:25maybe we get a cash-in teased but I I just I don't think you would go in that direction with this one

03:31so I think Gunther has done some amazing work he ends up getting the the championship win

03:36in a match that will probably surprise people with how much they enjoy it is my official prediction

03:41for Saturday night's main event that's Saturday what about Sunday as WWE Evolution happens for a

03:47second time and this match card is I think significantly better than the buzz that it is getting

03:54so let's buzz about it and talk about uh WWE Evolution

03:59WWE Evolution is going to be their main event of the weekend um and if you're looking at ticket sales

04:17it is not necessarily being treated as such as uh this one I think they've done a pretty good job

04:24of building it up but it is just something that is lost in the sauce in what is an absurdly busy

04:29weekend for this company when you look at how they are trying to counter AEW on Saturday also I

04:37believe it's a Beyonce concert that is in the area so people are occupied um over a summer weekend in

04:44Atlanta so it is unfortunate that this one kind of ends up being a bit of an afterthought because I

04:51think it's a pretty good card let's run through it JC Jane against Jordan Grace for

04:54the NXT Women's Championship we've said for a bit that the Jordan Grace full-time run in NXT has

05:00been a little bit underwhelming so far the timing of it was really off because she comes in at the

05:04same time as Stephanie Vaquer and as Julia and so you just have two mega stars who kind of overshadow

05:12her a little bit they're on the main roster now now is the time that Jordan Grace gets the opportunity

05:17to show that she is a main eventer and to kind of have this division be hers for a little bit

05:21I think she ends up getting the win over JC Jane at um at Evolution and gets kind of this crowning

05:28moment Battle Royal for a world championship match at Clash in Paris I think Nikki Bella probably gets

05:36it here I know that probably wasn't initially the plan when she was going to go into this thing

05:41with Liv Morgan but I I think that she is the big name wants to go to Paris so why not uh put her

05:48in the championship match I will say Nikki Bella is the one who gets the win in the Battle Royal um

05:54otherwise like the hope for me is Stephanie Vaquer who is absolutely ready for a championship

05:59opportunity could totally see it too but I feel like Nikki Bella is probably the one that they will

06:04go with just a quick aside on Stephanie Vaquer because they've had all these things to kind of build up

06:08with she has become a bit of an afterthought like she popped up on NXT this week it's like oh yeah

06:13haven't heard that music in a bit so hopefully now that they only have a one show to promote

06:20Stephanie gets the airtime that she deserves because she is a superstar tag team titles on the line

06:26Judgment Day taking on Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss taking on Sol Ruka and Zarya taking on the Kabuki

06:31Warriors I think this match is going to be fun as hell I think there are so many different moving parts

06:36in it I could see them going with Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss as this like get Charlotte on both

06:45brands you have the oh man maybe these people don't get along sort of a team but also with what

06:52is going on with Charlotte right now where she has the player players tribune piece where she was

06:57incredibly vulnerable about how difficult the Wrestlemania build was and with her going on

07:02Undertaker's podcast and everything like that I feel like there is an attempt to get people behind

07:09her and I think teaming up with Alexa Bliss I think there's going to be a lot of fun to be had with

07:13that and so I think that they are probably going to win the tag team titles there my initial thought

07:18was Judgment Day keeps it because I feel like the Roxanne Raquel tag team thing can build into a very

07:25effective jealousy angle with Liv Morgan but I just think the Charlotte Alexa Bliss feud maybe ties

07:32into it a little bit more Jade Cargill against Naomi in a no holds barred match the important part of

07:40this is Jade looking good she has the championship opportunity at SummerSlam and so you want her to

07:46feel like she is a big deal and you do not get that by having her lose to Naomi so it sucks to have

07:53Naomi get this money in the bank win and now get another loss against Jade but Jade is the project

07:59Jade is the the potential superstar not that Naomi isn't but right now that is the view of Jade so she

08:06probably gets the win here to look strong going in to SummerSlam Intercontinental title on the line

08:10Becky against Bayley against Lyra in a triple threat match for the IC championship this match is going to

08:17be fun as hell I cannot wait to see the entering masterpiece that these three are able to put on

08:24in this match in terms of who wins it I I could see them going back to Lyra and continuing to build

08:33her up in that way because you could say like Bayley doesn't need it Becky doesn't need it um

08:37honestly all three of them I could see like you can make a compelling case that Becky is just kind of

08:43getting going with this Intercontinental Championship and she is uh the one who can kind of help bring a

08:47little bit more prestige to this belt Bayley um add another championship to her resume and kind of

08:55solidify her as one of the best of all time sort of thing and like I said with Lyra it is a young

09:00prospect who feels like has a lot of the pieces to be a star they just haven't all come together for her

09:06just yet in kind of talking it out I feel like it's going to be Bayley I think Bayley probably gets

09:12the win and you can do a Bayley against Becky thing again for the IC title at SummerSlam that

09:17feels like a SummerSlam thing and this kind of heel turn that we're seeing from Valkyria I think that

09:24will continue coming out of this one then are two main championship matches as Tiffany Stratton

09:29takes on Trish Stratus for the women uh women's WWE Championship when Tiffany introduced Trish as the

09:37challenger I think there was a bit of a from the crowd which sucks because Trish all-time legend

09:43goat all those things but this is very similar to the Goldberg thing now Trish better in-ring

09:51performer all of those things but I don't think the crowd is super into Nostalgia Axe getting

09:56championship opportunities that being said I think this is going to be a fine match and the one thing

10:03I will say and I have been saying is if you want Tiffany to continue in this baby face lane I think

10:12you need Trish with her because this is the first time that Tiffany has been this type of a character

10:18in this company Trish is perfect at it and is kind of the blueprint they are trying to use

10:22for Tiffany Stratton I think having Trish there as a manager sometimes tag team partner someone who can

10:30get physical in these sorts of things I think that would be good to add some likability to this

10:34character going into a Jade Cargill feud uh going into SummerSlam so I I said it going into Wrestlemania

10:41I will say it again I wish they would keep these two together and then in what I presume to be the

10:47main event it'll be EO Sky taking on Rhea Ripley for the Women's World Championship um I was asked on

10:53our lengthy Twitch stream yesterday who is kind of your favorite performer right now it is EO Sky

10:59that being said I think this ends up being Rhea's spotlight night they they view her as kind of the

11:08top in the company not that EO isn't I think that she has really greatly improved her standing in this

11:14company but I think Rhea feels like she is kind of the big deal and the superstar and kind of the face

11:21women's division and I think having that be the spotlight coming out of Evolution and kind of the

11:26closing moment I think would be very very important for her and it would be a kind of a big moment for

11:32the company and pushing towards SummerSlam so I think Rhea Ripley ends up getting the job done and

11:36will win the Women's World Championship coming out of Evolution that is going to do it for the show
